Day of Toman vs. Ragnarok

It was the day of the fight. All of Toman was ready to fight for their territory. As for me, I was asked to stay home, where I would be safe from harm. If only they knew how badly I wanted to join them. But following Mikey request, I decided to stay home with Shinichiro keeping me company.

Don't get me wrong, I love how Mikey gets protective of me, but sometimes it gets annoying. As Shin and I sat on the couch, watching TV, I couldn't help but feel something bad was gonna happen. Taking a peak outside, I sent a silent prayer to the gang. Please come home safe, all of you.

With a short sigh, I turned my attention back to the TV. Shin on the other hand was texting Emma, asking her if she wanted to come over. And of course she agreed to. I guess I need to make lunch for three people.

Standing up, I looked over at Shin. "What would you like to eat?" Shin looked up at me with a smile on his face. Somehow, deep down, he knew that I'm worried about Mikey and the others. Ragnarok is one of the toughest gangs out there and god forbid if something happens to them, I don't know what I would do.

"Why not some cold soba?" he asked, suggesting a quick meal. Nodding my head in agreement, I walked in the kitchen, getting lunch ready. Few minutes later Emma shows up with a bright smile on her face. Settling in, Emma sat down next to Shin only to get up and help me bring lunch out.

As we dig in enjoying our cold soba, Shin's phone rang. Excusing himself, he answered his phone, leaving Emma and I. Not saying a word, we sat there quietly, eating our soba and watching TV. As the silence kept building up, Emma decided to break it.

Sitting down on the floor next to me, Emma looked at me. "Look Y/n, I know you're worried about Mikey. I am too. Hell I'm worried about Draken as well." Seeing me looking at her in disbelief, Emma couldn't help but feel sorry. Wrapping her arm around my shoulder, she leaned her head on my shoulder. "Yes Ragnarok is one of the toughest gang out there, but I promise you our boys will come back home, safe and sound."

And god was she wrong. The minute Shin came back, his face was grimmed. Not liking the look on his face, I stood up and made my way to him. "Shinichiro, what's wrong?" I could feel my own voice shaking. "We need to go to the hospital. Something came up." With not another word, we ran out the door and toward Shin's car.

Once we were in the car, we sped down the driveway and toward the hospital. I knew something was wrong. I could feel my whole body shaking with anxiety the closer we got. Just as we arrived, I quickly jumped out of the car and ran inside. Right as I got inside, I was met with several Toman members along with a couple of Black Dragons. Filled with anxiety and confusion, I looked around looking for Mikey. Only to see him not present.

"Wh-where's Mikey?" The sound of my voice shaking caused some to look at me with concern. With no one answering me, I could feel myself holding back tears. With hands shaking, I clutched my chest while covering my mouth. To make things worse, Mitsuya walked up to me.

With a anguish look, Mitsuya began to speak with a shaky voice. "Y/n, I'm sorry." Just with him wrapping his arms around me, my tears decided burst out. Falling down on my knees dragging Mitsuya down with me, I allowed myself to cry.

Hearing my cries, more arms came wrapping around me. Burying my face deeper in Mitsuya chest, I refused to show my tear stained face to the others. As we all sat there on the hospital floor, in a crying fest, a doctor came toward us. Taking the lead, Shin walked up to him.

"So, my brother?" With a smile on his face, the doctor answered him.

"The surgery was a success. Your brother is being sent to another room for his recovery. You should be able to see him shortly. At the moment, we are only allowing two people at the time." Shin nodded his head thanking the doctor.

Making his way to me, Shin knelt down beside me. I could feel him rubbing my back, trying to soothe me. Lifting my head up, I looked at him. With a soothing smile, Shin picked me up off the ground and led me toward Mikey's hospital room.

The minute we arrived, the sight in front of me broke my heart. There was my knight in shining armor, laying in a hospital bed with his wounds wrapped up in gauze. The way his hair sprawled out on the pillow.

Inching closer to him, I sat down on a chair by his bed. Taking his hand into mine, I kissed the back of his hand. Shin on the other hand left, giving us space.

As the night went on, I stayed by Mikey's side. At some point, I drifted off to sleep, praying that Mikey gets better soon.

Third POV:

Several days have past since Mikey landed himself in the hospital. The day after the fight, Mikey woke up only to be blinded by bright lights. Squinting his eyes, Mikey began to groan. Rubbing his eyes, he felt something, whether someone, next to him. Looking over, he couldn't help but smile.

There, sleeping so peacefully, was no other than his guardian angel, Y/n. With a loving smile, Mikey brushed his fingers through her hair. The way her hair felt between his fingertips, sent shivers down his spine. If it wasn't for his stab wound and injuries, he would of already had her in his arms. Instead, he decided on just giving her kiss on the forehead. Just the sight of her, warmed his heart.

With her hand into his, he layed his head back on the pillow as he stared up at the ceiling. The thought of Toman winning the fight against Ragnarok, made him proud. But was it worth the stab wound Mikey encountered? To him yes. The fact that someone threatened to bring harm to Y/n drove him off the deep end. If Draken wasn't there and was quick on his feet, Mikey would of been laying on his death bed.

Just the thought of leaving his friends, family, and his precious Y/n, made him realize something. Life is a fragile thing that he once took for granted. Tears began to form as he tried to hold them back. If only he was stronger, none of this would of happened. In a shaky voice, Mikey sighed. Tightly holding onto Y/n hand, he couldn't help but be grateful to be alive. Whoever was watching over him, he thanked them. With one last kiss on the back of Y/n hand, Mikey gently closed his eyes and fell back asleep.
