Christmas Day
Third POV:
Christmas Day, the most magical time of the year. Where family and friends gather together to celebrate with gifts and colorful lights. Where children are dressed in their Sunday best and adults show off their newest toys while laughing their jealousy away with booze. Where fancy dishes are placed on pristine table cloths, filling the air with their sweet aroma. The feeling of belonging is something Y/n, Hakkai, Yuzuha, and a few others will never feel again. For this is the day that Taiju Shiba will meet his end.
Thick snow fell silently on Tokyo that Christmas night. On one side of town, Mikey and Draken were riding their bikes with Shinichiro, enjoying the peaceful night. On the other side both Hakkai and Y/n were getting themselves ready to bring their plan to life. For Hakkai, it was put an end of Taiju life, while for Y/n, it was just to expose him for the piece of shit he is and exile him from the Black Dragons. For Takemichi and Chifuyu, they were planning on saving both Hakkai and Y/n from the path they both set on. If it came down to a fight, so be it. Of course Taiju himself was unaware of these events that were going to unfold.
As the tall teen stood there, in his blood red uniform with the Black Dragons symbol printed on the back, he stared out to his men with a serious look. Accompany him was no other than his cat and dog; Koko and Inui. All waited with anticipation, unsure as to why they were called.
"Listen up, men.," Inui voice rang out, bringing everyone's attention to him. "For today, both Koko and myself are in charge of this unit." A stir fled through the crowd causing not only Koko, but Taiju to glare at each and everyone of them. Once they felt their leader's glare on them, they quickly stopped talking.
"Boss," Inui began, once everything was quiet down, "we'll be taking our leave."
"Yeah," Tajiu answered as he turned his back and made his way to the church as Inui and Koko disappeared with the unit.
Soon the sky gotten darker as the snow began to fall harder. Somewhere not too far from Tajiu's location, Koko and Inui could be seen chilling at a near by stairs. Koko was staring into the void, deep in thought. With a smirk forming on his face, Koko couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "Looks like we're gonna be busy today" Koko sang as he looked toward Inui.
Not facing Koko, Inui answered him with a question. "What do you wanna do, Koko?" This question caught Koko off guard. Once upon a time, a certain black haired girl asked him that same question. Back then they were just kids, hanging around and playing games. At the time, Koko didn't know what he wanted to do, but now in the present, he sure does. To win the girl that he loves heart.
With a slick grin on his face, Koko looked at him. "Haha, ain't it obvious? I'm stickin' with you, Inupi."
Inui was shocked by Koko's answer. Looking toward the ground with sad eyes, he lowered his umbrella just a bit, allowing the snow to fall on him. "Keeping your promise?"
