Last day of school

"For all of you about to be seniors, you think it's so long until graduation but it's not. You'll blink and suddenly it'll be seventy five days past graduation and you'll be packing up your childhood bedroom and saying some very emotional goodbyes to the people you basically grew up with. So cherish every minute no matter how long it may seem. Go to every school event if possible. Have some late school nights and some early sunrise mornings. Spend as much time as you can with everyone you care about because before long, it'll be three days before you start a new life and you'll be wondering where the hell all that time gone."

Every student, faculty and parent were bawling in their seats as the seniors began their next journey. As we stood in the auditorium, listening to the senior class president giving their speech, my heart went out to them. Sure it's scary to think about starting a new chapter in your life, but at the same time it's exciting. Soon I will be a senior and I want to think back of the good times I had here.

Not only that, I want to create new memories with those I cherish. Now that summer break is just around the corner, I couldn't wait to spend my summer creating new memories and having fun in the sun. Plus there will be plenty of time to go to festivals with Mikey and the gang. Just thinking about it brought on a smile.

As the nostalgic feeling seeped in, cheers and claps could be heard in the background. Still a daze, I clapped along with my fellow classmates. One by one the seniors walked across the stage and were handed their diplomas. And with each diploma handed, the room gotten louder with wild cheers from friends and families. Some seniors just smiled cheekily out to the crowd, while others tried to hide from embarrassment. To those, I wish you luck.

As the graduation came to the end, everyone was glad to leave the stuffy auditorium. With the warm wind blowing through the windows, it was getting sticky and hot in there. Hell, I could feel my own boobs sweating from the heat. Damn school for being cheap. Once everyone exit, I walked toward my locker and grabbed my belongings. For it being a half day, it sure went by quicker than I expected.

With one foot out the door, I could feel the excitement grow inside me. With my school bag swung over my shoulder and a skip to my step, I continued to walk toward the school's gate. In the distance, I could see Wakasa waiting for me next to his bike. Just the thought of him coming to pick me up, was sweet. Little did I know, he had a surprise for me. As I made my way toward him, I could see a lot of girls fan-girling over him.

"Oh my god, he's so hot!"

"I wonder if he has a girlfriend?"

"You should totally ask him out!"

Just chuckling at their comments, I couldn't help but feel bad for those unfortuante souls. If only they knew that they were not his type. The way they dressed and cake their faces with make up making them look like clowns, and how they flaunt themselves as eye candy, was a big no no in Wakasa book. His ideal girl was someone who's strong and yet shows her weakness in a time of need, a girl who's very independent and kind, someone who has a caring heart and will accept him for who he is. He doesn't want a girl for their looks, he want someone for who they are on the inside and out. If you sound and look fake, then there was no way in hell you would have a chance.
