Later that night

Y/n POV:

Finally making it home, I slammed the front door open, only to slam it shut. After hearing those words coming out of Takemichi's mouth, pissed me off. Storming into the kitchen, I failed to realize that Waka and his friends were over. Just seeing them there, seemed to piss me off more. Narrowing my eyes at them, I spoke in a low, deadly tone. "Don't ask." And with that I grabbed some snacks and some soft drinks and headed upstairs to my room.

Entering into my safe space, I slammed the door shut with my foot and trotted toward my bed. Once I was settled, I placed all my goodies around me. Pulling my phone out, I began to watch some show on my phone only to get a text from a certain someone.

Wild Child: Aye N/n, wanna do something fun tonight?

Taken back by surprise, I was actually shocked that Baji would ask me to go out with him, let alone hang out. Usually I would be left out of things that he and the boys would do.

Not thinking twice, I decided to indulge in his plan.

N/n: What do you have in mind?

Wild Child: A night out into town and maybe burning a few cars here and there

Of course. Typical Baji.

N/n: Sure why not. Gotta burn off some steam anyway.

And with that, I put my phone down and got ready for my lil date with Baji. With one final check, I grabbed my phone and bag and headed toward the front door. As I walked down the stairs, I could hear Waka and his friends laughing away in the kitchen with Takeomi swearing up a storm. Sanzu probably did something to piss him off again. Without saying a proper goodbye or warning that I was leaving, I opened the door and walked right out.

Just as I closed the door behind me, Baji came riding up on his brand new bike. Smirking at him, I walked over to mine and climbed on. Starting the engine up, I could feel it purr throughout my whole body. The feeling that I get when I'm on my bike, was the feeling of pure freedom. With one final rev, I drove down my driveway and down the street with Baji falling right behind me.

The feeling of the wind brushing past me as I drove faster down the road made me smile like a school girl being notice by her school crush. Behind me I could of sworn I heard Baji laughing as he drove right up to me. The way his wild eyes looked with excitement made me happy. To see him be himself again, even after what happened to him two months ago, created a warm feeling inside me. To see him alive and kicking after being in the hospital for almost a whole months, brought joy inside me.

After driving for a few hours, we have finally arrived at our destination. A junk yard full of crushed cars. Parking our bikes, we turned them off and got off. With Baji in front with a full gas can in one hand and a lighter in the other, he strutted his way toward a pile of cars. Following suit, I watched as he stopped and set the gas can down, only to look up and down at the pile of cars in front of him.
