April 23, 2020 Days after Mikey asked Y/n to be his
Rain clouds cluttered the sky, indicating that summer was almost here. The smell of rain soothed my aching body as I sat up in bed. Peering down toward the bracelet that Mikey gave me, I felt a giddy feeling inside me. Have we told anyone? Besides Emma and Shin, no. But we plan to later today after Toman meeting.
That's right, there's a meeting today. It's been awhile since I've been to one. The thought of going, sent nerves down my spine.
It's not like I'm not welcome to their meetings, just never thought it was necessary to go. But since Mikey asked. Sighing, I got out of bed and got ready for the day.
Once everything was set, I walked into the kitchen only to be met by two sets of familiar backs facing me. Unsure if I should say or do anything, I stood there only to have one of them turn to face me. The warm smile on the face I missed so much, brought tears to my eyes. "Inui?" Just the thought of him being here felt unreal.
"Hey N/n, is been a long time, hasn't it?" Inui spoke as Koko turned around with a plate filled with food, in his hands. Not saying anything, I just nodded my head. My childhood friends, are standing in my kitchen.
Sensing the awkwardness radiating off of us, Koko cleared his throat. "Okay you two, let's go sit down and eat before this food gets cold." Nodding our heads, Koko placed the plate in Inui hands before guiding me to the table.
"M'lady," Koko said with a charming smile on his face as he led me to a chair before pushing me in.
"You always were a gentleman," I complemented. "Only to you, my dear." At that comment, I could feel my face heating up. Shaking my head, I looked at the two.
"Not to sound rude or anything, but, why are the two of you here?" I asked the two as we sat down. Inui and Koko looked at each other before looking at me.
"You're dad called us, asking us to keep an eye on you. Saying how you get lonely when he's away on 'business'." Inui answered with a smile on his face.
"Plus, we missed you and your beautiful face," Koko said, sending me a wink. I couldn't help but smile at the two. Oh how I missed them.
"Well thank you," I said. "And besides, I'm not always alone. I have Mikey and the others." The minute that comment slipped out of my mouth, a fork dropped. Looking up from my plate, I could see Koko seething with anger and jealousy, while Inui was trying to calm him down.
Unfortunate, Inui failed as Koko stood up, and stormed out of the room and toward the kitchen. As we sat there in silence, we could hear things either being slammed closed or things getting broken. Each glass shattering, made my body flinch. Seeing the state that Koko was putting me in, Inui sent me an apologetic smile before getting up and walking into the kitchen.
