Family Time

Emma wakes up next to Killian the next morning, smiling. She hears her parents downstairs. I cannot believe my parents are reunited and are in my house. Killian wakes up smiling seeing his swan happy. "Morning, Emma."

"Morning, Killian." They kiss. "My parents are downstairs."

"Aye, they are with the kids. Allison is still sleeping too."

"I still cannot believe you surprised me last night."

"It was your parents' idea. I had no idea they were on my plane until they arrived."

"My parents are getting married."

"Aye, we are all going to be in a wedding." He hugs his wife.

"I have a whole family now. If I did not meet you, I would not have Hope, met Allison, and met my parents. I would be still alone."

"Aye, I would be still alone too, if I had not met you in flight school." They kiss. Their bedroom door opens, it was Hope and Henry. 'There are Mommy and Daddy."

"Mommy!" Hope goes to her bed.

She scooped her daughter in her arms and hugged her daughter. "Hi, Hope."

"Mommy." she hugs her Mommy."Hope, did you have breakfast already?" Hope babbles.

"Henry, what is going on downstairs?"

"Gramps and Grandma are cooking breakfast downstairs. Hope wanted to look for you." He joined his family on the bed

"Son, your Mom and I slept very late last night."

"Your grandparents, aunt, and I were catching up on long lost time."

"When was the last time you saw your parents together?"

"Yesterday was the first time ever I saw my parents together."

"Really?"

"Yes. My mom had Allison and then me, in a home for pregnant teenagers. She was very young when she had us. She was forced to give us up for adoption. Grandma's dad shipped her off to Italy before she was able to see my Dad again."

"Why did your grandpa do that?"

"He was very very mean to my mom. She wanted to run away with my Dad. When Your Dad, Hope, me, Aunt Allison, and Connor went to meet your grandma, she was a nun."

"In the church?"

"In a convent where the nuns live. She wanted us to find my Dad. You were with us when we first met him."

"His farm. Is that where grandma going to live?"

"Yes, kid. I know your grandparents are going to visit us and Allison and Connor here in New York a lot." Hope babbles. "You want to go downstairs?

"Yes."

Emma and Killian smile at their daughter's new word. "Aye, that is a yes." He kisses Hope on the cheek.

The family went downstairs, Emma was holding Hope and smiles seeing her parents. "Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad."

"Hi, Emma." She hugs her daughter. "Hope, you found your Mommy."

"Yes!"

"Em-em!!"

"Hi, little man. Hope and I are going to sit next to you." Hope babbles to Connor try to take his food. "Hope, that is Connor's food. You are getting your own food, baby duckling." She took his food away from her daughter who was crying.

Killian made his daughter a plate of cut-up pancakes and scrambled eggs. "Here is your food, little love."

"Dada made you a plate of pancakes and eggs."
