Captain Swan Fly Away

After Spring Break

As soon as the Swan-Jones family returned home, Ian was wailing nonstop. Killian was with him in his and Emma's bedroom. Hope was fast asleep in her crib. Emma was tucking Henry in for bed. "Mom, I am not tired."

"You need to sleep because you have school in the morning."

"Jackie is not in school."

"Because she and your great uncle are with your grandpa at Aunt Allison's house."

"When is Dad going back to work?"

"In two weeks."

"I like having him at home."

Emma smiles at her son. "So do I. Now, you need to go to sleep, kid."

"Okay." He hugged his stuffed elephant. "Good night, Mom."

"Good night, Henry." She kissed her son on the head, turned off the light and closed the door. She checked on Hope who was still fast asleep, thanks to her Dad, her daughter was tired out from the flight home.

Killian arrives out in the hallway. "Swan, is Henry asleep?"

"I just tucked him in." She takes Ian from her husband. "Mama is here, baby boy." She bounced her son up and down. "Shh..shh..."

Mary Margaret arrives at the Swan-Jones house. She used her key to enter the house and hears the newborn crying. Hope was running around the house."Hope."

"Nana!!" She runs and hugs her Nana.

"You are wide awake this morning."

Killian arrives downstairs."Hi, Mary-Margaret." He yawns.

"Jet lag."

"Ian has been crying nonstop all night. He has jetlag. I am used to time differences."

"I can be with my upset grandson."

"Thank you. Hope has been wide awake since 5:00 am." Hope babbles.

Henry arrives downstairs in his uniform and backpack. "Hi, Nana."

"Wy-wy."

"Hi,Henry."

"Dad is taking me to school." He holds his sister. "Hope, we are going to play after I come home from school." He hugged his baby sister.

"Bye-bye."

"Bye, baby sis."

"Son, we got to get going."

"Yes, Dad." Mary Margaret holds her granddaughter. The father and son left the house.

"Let's go find your Mommy."

"Mama, Ian."

Mary Margaret carried Hope upstairs. She sees her daughter overtired with crying, Ian. "Emma."

"Mom."

"Killian told me you two have no sleep." She sets Hope down and takes her overtired grandson. "Hope, you can snuggle with your Mama while I snuggle with Ian."

Hope runs to her Mama and hugs her. "Mama!!"

Emma smiles at her daughter. "We are going to have our girl time now, sweetie."

"Yay!" Emma chuckles. She and Hope snuggle on her and Killian's bed.

"Mama?"

"Yes, Hope?"

"Stowy."

"Once upon a time, there was a long lost little princess..."

Mary Margaret carried very upset baby Ian to his nursery. She sits on the rocking chair and rocked Ian. The baby stopped crying, which turned into a whimper. A few minutes later, her grandson was fast asleep in her arms. She smiles, she has the grandma touch.
