Crew Meet Up

Ever since Emma found out about her rapist wanting parole, Killian has been keeping a close eye on his swan. Killian wakes up early morning on his day, letting his swan sleep in. He gets Hope from her crib and gets her ready to go out. "We are going to have a daddy-daughter time. We are going to the park for playtime." He gets the diaper bag packed with bottles of Emma's breast milk and carrier and takes Hope to the car. He places Hope in her carseat. Hope babbles. Killian places her Pluto doll next to her. Hope smiles. Killian got into the driver's seat and drove to the park. "Little love, we can go on the swings." He puts Hope in the baby swings. Hope was smiling as her Daddy was pushing her. He takes a picture of Hope on the swings and texts it to his swan. Hope babbles. "Higher?" Killian pushes Hope more on the swings. After the swings, Hope was crying. "Are you hungry little love?" He takes Hope out of the swings and found a spot to sit with Hope who was getting very upset. "I know Hope, you are very hungry." He takes Hope's bottle out and Hope sucks on it right away and looks up at her daddy. "You are so much like your Mommy little duckling. You get your ocean blue eyes from me." He kisses Hope on the head. "I love you so much, Hope. Dada is always going to be there for you." Hope fusses. "You love Dada and hope time?" Hope kicked her legs and spits up. Killian cleaned Hope's spit up and continued bottle feeding her and talking to her.Emma wakes up not seeing Killian on her side or hearing her daughter. She checks her iPhone seeing pictures of Hope on the baby swings and a selfie himself and Hope. Emma, Hope and I are having fun at the park. Emma was in awe knowing Hope was having fun with her Daddy. I know you two are having so much fun together. xoxo She takes a shower, ate breakfast and reads a book. She was having a nice morning to herself which did not happen in a long time. The doorbell rings and she answers the door, it was Ashely. "Ashley." She hugs her."Hi, Emma. I wanted to drop by for a visit.""You are always welcomed here. Come in." They sat in the living room."Where is Hope and Killian?""Killian took Hope to the park, for Daddy-daughter time." She showed Ashley the pictures."Aww. Hope is having so much fun with Killian."Emma smiles."Yes, he is an amazing daddy. He loves Hope so much.""Killian told me about the court yesterday after we landed.""Yes, two cops from a special victims unit last weekend told me that my rapist wants parole. I have to go to court to tell the judge why he should stay in prison.""He should be staging in court for life.""Yes, that is what I am hoping.""Do you know when the trail is going to be?""April 10th. I got a letter yesterday. The trial is two days before Killian and my wedding anniversary. Crazy right?"Ashley held Emma's hand. "Killian did tell me he took time off that day and he is not working on your anniversary.""He is going to be in court with me when I tell them my story. Allison took the day off, so she can watch Hope.""Knowing your husband, he is going to be on your side the whole time in court.""That is definitely the plan." They continue to talk.In the park, Killian took Hope on the baby slides. "Little love, hold onto Dada. We are going down the slide, in the count of three. 1...2...3." They go down the slide. "Yay, went down the slide." He clapped Hope hands who make a lot of poop. "You need a diaper change." He takes Hope t the car and changes her diaper. Hope just continued to cry. "Hopey, you want to go home to Mommy." Hope cried more. Killian knew Hope needed her morning nap. He put her back in her car seat and drove home. He gets the diaper bag out and takes Hope out of her car seat and holds her against him. "We are home, Hope. Mommy is inside. I had so much fun with you this morning." He kisses Hope on the head and they enter the house. Emma and Ashely were talking in the living room when Killian and Hope returned home. "I will be right back." She heads to the door. "Killian..""Hope had fun in the park but misses her Mommy. Little love, we are back with Mommy.""Mommy.""Hi, Hopey. She takes Hope from Killian. "Hopey, you are with Mommy. You are at home. I know you had so much fun at the park with Dada." She bounces her up and down to calm her daughter."Love, she is fed and changed." "I know she is just very cranky because she needs her morning nap." Ashley approached Emma and Hope. "Emma, she has gotten so big.""Yes, she is 7 and half months and needs her morning nap. Hopey, Ashley is over.""Hi, Hope. I know you want your Mommy and your morning nap.""I will be right back after I get her to sleep." Hope cried more. Emma carries Hope upstairs."I know, you are tired. You just want to nap with Mommy." Hope hugs her Mommy. Emma loves her Hope hugs. She goes into Hope's room, gets Hope's blankie and rocked Hope who just wanted to snuggle. "You are my sunshine My only sunshine,You make me happy, When sky's are grey, You'll never know, dear, How much I love you, Please don't take my sunshine away " Emma kept singing to her daughter until Hope fell asleep on her chest and not letting her go. "Mommy loves you so much, Hope. You give me the best snuggles." She kissed Hope on the head and watched her daughter sleep. Ashley goes upstairs seeing Emma snuggling with Hope on the rocking chair. "Emma. I am going to go.""Ashely.""Hope needs your snuggles. I can tell that she is enjoying it." Emma smiles. "I was wondering if you and Killian are free Saturday to come over to my house. I am hosting the crew.""I have not seen our crew in months. Can Killliana nd I bring Hope?'"Of course you can, Alexandra wants to play with Hope, she kept asking when you are bringing Hope over." Emma chuckles. "Okay, we will come."Yay! I will see you three on Saturday." They hug. "I do miss our girl chats."Yes, we can continue our girl chat on Saturday." Emma chuckles. "We will be there.""See you Saturday." Ashley goes downstairs. "Killian, I will see you, Emma and Hope on Saturday.""You got Emma to come?""Yes.""Aye, everyone has been asking about her at work.""I know. It was my turn to host again. I need to invite my best friend.""I know Emma will be happy to see the rest of the crew again. Also to show off Hope."Ashley giggles. "Alexandra has been asking me when Emma was bringing Hope to play.""Aye, I know the two lasses will have fun.""Yes, I will see you tomorrow at work. I am so excited that your wife and daughter are joining our crew meet up on Saturday.""Aye, I know she is excited." Ashley leaves the Swan-Jones house. Killian goes upstairs to find his swan and little lass snuggling. "Ashley invited us to the crew meet up on Saturday?'"Oh really? Did you have anything to do with it, captain?""Well, we haven't been to the other crew meetings. At work, everyone asked about you and our little lass all the time.""I have not seen our crew since Hope's baptism. Then Allison and I were so busy looking for our birth Mom...it got crazy.""Aye, now you will see all of our friends. I know they are going to be very happy to see our little lass.""I am excited for Saturday.""Me too, love." Emma gets out of the rocking chair and kisses her husband on the cheek. Emma and Killian enjoyed the quiet time and snuggling while Hope was fast asleep on Emma. After Hope's nap time, Killian was cooking his family dinner while Emma was playing with Hope in the living room. Hope banging toys, standing up on her walker and babbling away. "Oh, really? Tell me more." Hope smiles at her Mommy and reaches to her. Emma holds her daughter's hands, as Hope was standing up. "You are standing up, Hope!" Hope babbles. "I am staying right here, with you. Your legs are getting so strong. My big girl." Killian sees Emma with Hope and takes a picture of the mother and daughter on his iPhone before joining them. "Hope, are you standing up like a big lass?"Hope babbles at her Daddy. Emma chuckles. "You are getting very strong, Hope.""Aaa-ahh.""Da-da.""Aa-ahh.""Da-da." "Aaa-aah." Hope reaches out to him, as Killian holds Hope's hands to keep her steady. Killian smiles at his little lass and gave her kisses on her cheek. Emma took pictures of her little family on her iPhone which she was absolutely loving. He lifts Hope up and down making her laugh. Emma tickles her making Hope laugh more, Killian joins in until Hope makes a lot of poop. "Whoa, Hope. You need a diaper change." Emma takes Hope upstairs to her room and changes Hope's diaper. She brings Hope back downstairs to play. Hope was scooting around and heading to the kitchen. "Aah-aah." "Little love, did you smell dinner being cooked?" Hope babbles. He scooped Hope into his arms. "You know Dada is the cook of the family?" Hope smiles as her Daddy gave her kisses on the cheek. Emma smiles seeing her family together. She chops up pieces of peeled up zucchini. "Killian, Hope is going to try zucchini to get tastes of it and chew her teeth. Her doctor said that she can try some solid foods like zucchini, tomatoes, and fruits. We can slowly get Hope to try fruits and vegetables.""Aye, it can be part of Hope's meal." Hope babbles and hugs her Daddy. "You are going to try food tonight with Dada and Mommy with you, little love.""She loves when you are off from work.""Aye, she loves being home with both of her parents." He kisses Hope on her cheek. Hope smiles. He puts Hope in her high chair as Emma sets the peeled zucchini for Hope to try. Hope grabs the piece of zucchini with her hands and eats it while her parents take pictures on their iPhones. Hope was smiling, showing her two teeth. "You like it, baby girl?" Hope was chewing on the zucchini, which was dripping all over her face. "Swan, she loves it.""Yes, she loves her first real food." Hope pats the high chair table. "You want more?" Emma puts more zucchini on the table and kisses Hope on the cheek. "You smell so good." Hope smiles. Killian takes a picture of his two loves, smiling. Hope was chewing and squeezing the zucchini pieces. Emma hugs his wife. She kisses him on the cheek. "You are not missing this milestone of Hope's.""Aye, I am not missing our daughter's newest milestone. I love seeing her grow.""Me too. You and I are teaching her.""Yes, we are, Emma." They kiss.It was finally Saturday, Emma was playing with Hope on her and Killian's bed while Killian was sleeping. Hope scoots over to her sleeping Daddy. "Aaa-aah.""Hope, dada is sleeping, little buttercup. We have to let Dada sleep, he is very tired from driving airplanes the last few days, sweetie.""Aaa-ahh..""You can play in here and stay with dada but you have to be quiet." Hope smiles. Emma let Hope play with toys babbling away. She knew Hope missed Killian while he was very busy flying over the last few days, and Hope wanted to be near her Daddy. Hope shows Mom their favorite book. "Mommy." "I can read you The Ugly Duckling to you." Hope clapped her hands. Emma smiles and begins reading, "Once upon a time, there was a Mommy duck and a Daddy duck..." As Emma read to their daughter, Killian heard his two loves, mostly Hope babbling on him which he did not mind because he loves his daughter and how much she wants to be around him. Hope began to cry. "Hopey, are you hungry for breakfast?" She puts Hope on her hip and brings her downstairs. She puts Hope in her high chair and set cheerios on the highchair table. Hope eats cheerios. She puts blueberries on the high chair which Hope chewed on. Emma brewed coffee for Killian knowing he will need it when he wakes up and makes scrambled eggs for herself and Killian with toast on the side. Killian wakes up smelling coffee and his swan cooking breakfast. "Aaa-aah.""Good morning, little love." He kisses Hope on the cheek. "Are you watching Mommy cook?""Mommy." Hope eats a blueberry. "Aye, Mommy gave you fresh blueberries and cheerios." Hope babbled. "Aye, I will have my own blueberries." The family ate breakfast together, while Emma cleaned up, she watched Killina playing with Hope in the living room. He was helping her stand. 'You are getting stronger little love. You are standing up, like a big lass." Hope babbles. "You always be my little girl." Hope smiles. They continued to play. Emma went upstairs to Hope's room and laid out Hope's outfit for when they go to Ashley's house and packed Hope's diaper bag. Killian was playing with Hope, with shape in a hole. He was telling her which shape was and teaching her how to the shapes in the hole. "Very good, little love." Hope grabs the square. "Where does the square go?" He points at the square shape hole. Hope puts the square shape into the hole. "You did it, Hope Yay!" He clapped Hope's hands, making Hope smile. Hope scooted around the living room. Killian loved seeing his little lass exploring around the living room. He puts hope in her bouncy chair. Hope moved her legs and moved all around. Emma returns downstairs seeing Killian chasing around Hope who was walking around in her bouncy chair laughing. She took photos. Hope sees her Mommy. "Mommy." "Hi, baby girl. Are you having fun with Dada?""Aa-ahh." Emma chuckles. "Swa, Hope is moving a lot in her bouncy chair.""She loves her walker." Hope began crying. "Hopey, it is your naptime." She scooped Hope out of her bouncy chair. "After your nap, we are going to Ashley's house to see Dada and Mommy's friends." Hope continues to cry. "You need your nap. You were having so much fun with Dada.""Little love, you want Dada to snuggle?""Aaa-ahh." Emma puts Hope in Killian's arms and kisses Hope on the cheek. "Have a good nap with dada, baby girl." Kilian takes Hope upstairs and sits with Hope on the rocking chair and watches his little lass sleep. Emma gets dressed, in a long-sleeve gray maternity shirt, maternity jeans, and her hair up in a high ponytail. Killian carried sleeping Hope in his arms into their room, seeing his swan doing her makeup. She turns around smiling seeing Killian holding their daughter. "Hope is enjoying her nap on her Daddy.""Aye, I absolutely love it.""Hope loves her Daddy being at home.""I miss Hope at work.""She is always so happy when you come home.""Aye, I look forward to that when I land my plane." "I miss working with you, my captain." Hope wakes up. "Hi, baby girl." She kisses Hope on the cheek. "Even if I miss working with you. I love our baby girl.""Mommy." Emma gets Hope from Killian. "I love Hope's first word." She kisses hope on the head. Killian smiles. Hope fusses. "Hopey, we are going to Ashley's house." Hope makes a lot of poop. "Hope, you need a clean diaper and a new outfit." Emma changes Hope's diaper and shows her daughter the outfit pink Minnie Mouse shirt, baby jeans, making Hope smile. "You like the outfit?" Hope babbles. She changes Hope's outfit. Killian drove his family to Ashley's house. Emma carried Hope out of the car. "Aaa-aah.""Dada is right here, little love." He kisses Hope on the cheek. They walked to Ashley's house. Ashley opens the door, "Emma!" Ashley hugs her best friend. "I am so glad that you are here." Emma chuckles. "Hi, Hope.""Hi, Ashley.""Hi, Killian. Come in." They entered the house. Alexandra comes running in. "Hi, Emma!""Hi, Alexandra." "Can I play with Hope in my room?""Yes, she took a nap before she came to play with you." Hope scooted around in Alexandra's bedroom while Ally showed Hope her toys. Hope chewed on toys. Emma was nearby. "Hope you do not eat Alexandra's toys. Toys are not food." "Emma, Hope can play with my toys, even with drool.""Thank you, Ally."Ashley returns upstairs. "It is okay, Emma.I can clean the toys later." She facesHope. "You are having fun with Ally's toys, right Hope?" Hope smiles. "You are having fun." Ashley sits next to Emma. "I miss you at work. I always Killian ask about you all the time.""I miss you too. I miss working with Killian, he and I are a team." She looks at her daughter scooting around the room. "He and I are now a team of parents. We both love being Hope's parents." Hope scooted to her Mommy. "Mommy." Emma smiles as she scooped Hope onto her chest. Hope babbled happily. Soon enough the rest of their crew arrived, everyone was surprised to see Emma. "Emma!""Hi!" She did a group hug with her friends. Hope fusses."Swan, I got our little love.""Aaa-ahh.""You are with Dada little love. We are watching a hockey game." He sits next to Gus. "Hope say hi to Thomas." Hope babbles."Hi, Hope." He tickles Hope making her smile. "I fly airplanes with your dad." Hope smiles."Hope has only been on 2 flights. She loves it when I am the pilot." "Aaa-ahh.""Yes, little love, Dada is the best pilot." He lets Hope scoot around the living room and helping Hope stand up by gripping his hands. Emma and the rest of the girls were in the kitchen talking and catching up. Emma brings over snacks to the boys. She sees Hope scooting around the floor. "Hope, are you having fun with Daddy and his friends?" Hope babbles. "Yes, you are." Rosie enters the room."Emma!""Rosie!" They hug. "I had no idea you were coming.""She invited me.""Love, she has been trying to get you to join the crew meetups for a long time.""I am finally back.""I am so happy that you are here." Hope scoots over to her Mommy and Rosie and pats Rosie's leg."Hope!" She kneels down to her. "Hi, Hope." Hope smiles. She picks Hope up from the ground. "The last time I saw you, Hope is when you and your Mommy and daddy were in Italy." Hope babbles. "Emma, did you find your biological Mom?""Yes, I did. Allison and I found our biological, Mom." Hope reaches out for Kilian. "Aaa-aah.""Rosie, Hope wants Killian." Emma takes Hope from Rosie and hands her over to Killian. "Aaa-ahh.""Yes, you are with dada little love. Swan, Hope wants to watch the hockey game with the lads and I.""Okay." Emma smiles and returns talking with Rosie. Emma sits with Rosie and tells her whole Italy adventure; how she and Allison met their Mom, about her biological Mom's past, how she and Hope stayed in Italy longer, her Mom in the hospital and having Killian as their pilot on the way back to America. "Emma! You had a crazy and amazing adventure in Italy. I am so happy that you found your Mom. I can see why Hope loved Killian as her favorite pilot." Emma chuckles. "She was so happy to see Killian. He let her be his little pilot. He showed her the pilot steering wheel after we landed.""You inspired me to find my biological parents!""Really?""Yes!""That is awesome! You can ask me or Allison for help to find them.""Thank you, Emma." They hugged. As they were talking, Hope was with her Daddy and seeing all of their friends cheering and yelling at the game. She became overwhelmedand started to cry loudly. "Little love, why are you crying?" Emma quickly comes over. "Hopey. Killian, I think the game is a little too much for her, and she is hungry. I think it is way past her naptime" She takes Hope from Kilian. "Hopey, are the guys screaming at the television too loud at the game?" She hugs her daughter and takes her out of the room. She sat with Hope in the hallway where it was quiet. "Hopey, you are okay Everything is okay. Shh..shh.." Emma rubs Hope's back to calm Hope down. Ashley comes by. "Emma is Hope alright?" "She is a little overwhelmed by the boys watching the hockey game." Hope cried more. Emma nurses Hope which calmed Hope down. Ashley returns back with a plate of food for Emma. "Thank you.""You are welcome. I remember I always needed to eat something while nursing. I did not nurse that long.""It is hard to nurse all the time, it takes a lot of time out of the day but it is worth it." Emma finishes nursing Hope and burps her and lets her scoot around. She follows Hope who was finding Killian. "Aaah-Aah."Killian smiles as he scoops Hope into his arms. Emma sat next to Killian and Hope and continue catching up with her friends. "Mommy."Emma puts Hope on her lap. "You can stay with me, little duckling." As the night ended, Killian drove his family home. "Did you have fun tonight?"Emma smiles. "Yes, I did. I had so much fun catching up with our crew.""We can go to crew meetups more often.""Yes." Killian drove his family home. After Emma was put to bed, Killian made them cinnamon hot cocoa and they snuggle on the couch in the living room together, enjoying alone time. "Did you ever think becoming parents change?""Aye, I always expect change not a lot but it is for the better.""I did not expect to be a stay at home mom, but I love being with our little girl. I love seeing her grow and learn and giving her everything I did not have as a child, I am giving her love and care. I was thinking, we can have a family vacation after the trail. Maybe a road trip? With just three of us?""Like a weekend getaway?""Yes. What do you think?""I love that idea, swan.""We can start planning soon.""Where do you think you want to go?""I was thinking about the woods, nature, like renting a cabin. We can go on hikes.""I love that idea, Emma." They kiss. They are very excited for Swan-Jones family vacation.
