Captain Swan Fly Away

When the family arrived home from Disney World, Emma made an appointment with her doctor to confirm the pregnancy. Killian has been extra protective of his swan. Very early in the morning, before he left for work, Emma would wake up hearing her husband's voice talking to the baby, which she loves. Hope still has been extra clingy to her Mommy, which Henry noticed. Emma was cooking dinner in the kitchen, being around food is hard to smell for her. So far her pregnancy symptoms, are nausea and swollen breast. Luckily, she had nursing bras from her pregnancy with Hope, not too long ago. Hope was in her high chair playing with toys. Henry enters the kitchen. "Mom?"

"Yes, Henry?" She faces her son.

" I see you are not feeling well. You look tired. Hope is extra clingy to you. Are you okay?"

Emma smiles at her soon to be adopted son who noticed she was not herself. She kneeled to face her son."I need to tell you some special news."

"What is it?"

"I am pregnant. You are going to be a big brother again."

Henry smiles big."You are having a baby!"

"Yes, Henry." She hugged her son. "You are not going to be replaced. You are not going to be sent back."

"How?"

"I was sent back to the foster system because the family that I had was going to have another baby of their own. They could not afford me. With the baby on the way, you are going to be a great big brother. Just like you are with Hope." Hope babbles.

"Hope, you are going to be a big sister." Hope screams. "Mom, Hope, and I are very happy that you are pregnant."
Emma hugs her son and kisses him on his chocolate brown hair.

A few weeks later, it was Henry's first day of school. Killian was up early for his flight and dressed into his uniform kissing Emma's tiny baby bump, which is starting to show. Killian kisses his wan's tiny baby bump. "Dada is here, little one. Keep growing inside of your amazing Mommy.We all love you so much." He kissed his swan on the head and left ginger ale and dry toast for his swan.

Emma wakes up seeing her husband awake in his uniform. "Are you ready for work?"

"Yes, I am ready, love. I have my coffee and breakfast packed." She gets out of bed, rubs her tiny baby bump, and hugs her husband."Are you okay?"

"Yes. I am just going to miss you when you are at work." She began crying. "Damn my hormones."

Killian hugged his wife. "It is okay, cry,love. We are having another baby. You are already starting to show, I see your tiny baby bump."

"It is my 3rd pregnancy...."

He kneeled down. "This is your Daddy, little love. I love you so much. You have a big sister and a big brother, who are very excited to meet you. Your Mommy is the best Mommy in all the realms."

Emma cries more. "Henry is very excited to be a big brother from the very beginning. I also told him he is not going to be returned to the system."

"Aye, have you heard from the adoption agency?"

"Not yet. I have a feeling we are going to hear about Henry's adoption soon." She thought of her gynecologist appointment this afternoon.

"Love?" He knows something was on her husband's mind. "I can tell by your face."

"When we visit my parents this weekend, I want to tell them about our baby on the way."

Killian smiles. "We are going to surprise your parents."

"Yes. We are leaving Friday night. I can drive since you are working all day. Allison and Connor are riding with us. If I get tired, she can drive."

"Your sister has been keeping our special secret really well."
