Getting to Know Each Other

Since Hope was sleeping in her Daddy's arms, she woke up her Daddy to change her poopy diaper. Killian changed Hope's diaper. Hope cried during her diaper change. "Little love, you will be cleaned in a few minutes. We have to be quiet Mommy is sleeping." He puts a clean diaper on his daughter which made her stop crying "That is a good little Hope." He kisses Hope on the head and placed her in the dockatot in between him and Emma. "Since you are still awake, do you want a bedtime story?" He lets Hope grip his finger. "This is one of my favorites as a lad, once upon a time there was a handsome pirate in Neverland..." Emma heard her husband telling their daughter a story, which she loves already that they are bonding with each other. After he finished his story, Hope was fast asleep. "Sleep dreams, Hope. Daddy and Mommy love you, little lass." He gently kissed Hope on the head and goes back to sleep.

A few hours later Hope woke up hungry and Emma knew Hope was needed to be fed. Emma turned on the light, got a burp rag out of the cart and put it over her shoulder. She gets from her dockatot and puts her in her arms. "Hope, Mommy is going to feed you, sweetie. I know..I know you are a very hungry sweetie." She prepped to breastfed her and Hope latches on quickly. She looks at her husband sleeping and looked at her daughter. "Hope, I love our time together so much already. I am loving our bonding time so much. You are making Mommy so happy Hope. I cannot wait until when you are older so I can braid your hair and have girl talk, which I know will happen a lot. Since you are so little, we can still shop, play, sing, read together, and have a lot of time snuggling time and Mommy & Hope time." She kisses Hope on the head. "I love you so much baby girl." Emma switched Hope to her other boob to be fed. When Hope was full, Emma burped her. "Hope, you had a very big burp, sweetie." She held Hope in her arms. "Mommy will always love you, be there for you no matter what." She kisses Hope on the head. Hope spit up on her onesie and began to cry. "Hope, Mommy will change your outfit sweetie. It is okay, do not cry Hope." Emma took off Hope's onesie and placed Hope on her chest, skin to skin. "Hope we are going to do skin to skin." Hope instantly stops crying. "Mommy knows that you spit up was not on purpose. You were just full." Hope gurgled. "We all make mistakes and we learn from them. Whenever you need help you can always come to Mommy and Daddy and we will help you." She rubs her daughter's back and kissed her on the head. "I love you so much my baby Hope." She falls back to sleep with her daughter sleeping on her. Hope woke up an hour later needed to be changed which Emma woke up instantly. "Hope, Mommy will change you, sweetie. You need a clean diaper." She slowly sits up holding her daughter and gets a diaper and puts Hope on her bed and changes her dirty diaper. "You are all cleaned, sweetie." She checks the time at 5:30 am. "It is morning already." Hope began to fuss "Hope, Mommy got you, sweetie." She kisses Hope on the forehead and placed Hope on her and watched Hope fall back to sleep and she fell back to sleep once Hope was asleep. A few hours later, Hope woke up hungry which woke up her Mommy. "Hope, Mommy will feed you, sweetie." She slowly sat up and fed her daughter, which was easy because she was wearing a bra during their skin to skin time. Hope ate about an hour. Emma was exhausted but loving her time with her daughter.

Killian woke up early as usual. He looked at his Emma exhausted and Hope was sleeping on her. Killian knew Emma was up most of the night with their little lass feeding her, skin to skin with her and changing her. He knows that their little lass wanted her Mommy that is all. He cleaned up their room throwing out the dirty diapers and piled up Hope's dirty laundry. Hope wakes up crying and he gets his daughter from his wife. "Little love, Daddy got you little Hope." He checked her diaper. "Aye, you need a clean diaper little love. Daddy will change you in your room. Mommy needs more sleep love. She was up all night with you." He takes Hope into her room and changed Hope into a clean diaper and a onesie with roses on them. "You are all clean Hope." He takes her in his arms. "Hope, we did not give you a tour of the house yet." Hope gurgled. "Daddy will give you a tour of your home." He kisses Hope on the head. He showed her the extra bedroom on the top floor since she knows her room and their room. He takes her downstairs, showing her the living room with all of her different toys, chairs and play mats are. He showed her the library. "This little love is a library. Mommy loves books so much that I bought her so many books once Mommy moved in here. Mommy always wanted a home with books. I know you will love reading like your Mommy little love." Hope was awake and looking at her Daddy while he was talking to her. He showed her the kitchen next, "This is where Daddy Mommy and you will have meals together as a family." He brought her down to the basement. "This is a place where you can play with your toys when you are older." He kisses Hope on the head and she began to cry. "Hope, you are with Daddy little love. How about you and I go into the living room to talk on the couch." He takes crying Hope to the living room and he lies down on the couch and let Hope snuggle on him. Hope calmed down once she was snuggling on her Daddy. "Aye, you like snuggling with Daddy little love?" Hope gurgles and moved around a little bit which made him smile. He kisses Hope on the head. "Daddy and Mommy love you so much, Hope. Even though Mommy is tired she loves you so so much Hope. She is giving you everything that she did not have as a child, love, a home, a family and love. Mommy did not have any of that as a child. Now, Mommy has us as her family including your auntie Allison, cousin Connor, and Uncle Ted. Your Mommy has us and she loves you so much, Hope. She is loving her time with you even when you are not letting her get much sleep. She is taking advantage of her second chance of becoming a Mommy. I know you love Mommy so much and I am very happy to see you with your Mommy all the time. You are making her so happy Hope." Hope gurgles. "Aye, I know you love Daddy too, little love." He kisses Hope on the head and she falls asleep while snuggling her Daddy. "I love being your daddy little Hope." He watches her sleep on him loving every minute with his daughter and giving Emma her they very needed break to get sleep so she won't be too sleep deprived.
