The night after Emma almost sexually harassed, Emma was having a bad dream of being attacked by her rapist, she screaming no. Killian woke up hearing his wife's screams and she had Hope on her. Killian gets his daughter off of his wife, Hope woke up crying. "Your Mommy is going to be alright, little love." Allison heard Emma's screams and rushes in the room, "Killian, I got Hope." Allison holds her niece.
"Thank you, Allison." Killian hugs his wife.
"Mommy is going to be alright, your Daddy is going to make her feel better," Emma screamed louder.
"Emma!" He wakes up his wife from her nightmare and she ends up crying. Killian hugs his wife.
"Killian."
"You are alright, love. You are with me. It was only a bad dream..shhh...shh...The dream is over love. You are with me."
"Hope. Where is Hope?"
"She is with me, Emma." Emma hugs Killian tighter.
"You are with me, love. You are with me. You are safe." He kisses Emma on the head and rubs her back until his wife stopped crying.
"Killian, Hope and I will be in her room." Killian nodded. Allison takes Hope next door. After a while of Emma holding onto Killian, "Love do you want to talk about it?"
Emma sniffles. Allison enters the room. "Killian, Hope is asleep in her room. Emma..." She sits next to her sister and brother in law. "I am right here if you need to talk."
"Love, you have the both of us to talk. You are not alone love." Emma looked at her sister and husband.
"It was bad...that crazy man was in my dream this time in a hood, he attacked me. It was not him in the hood, it was the asshole Neal raping me..." Killian hugged his wife.
"Love he is in prison for life, he is never going to get out. He is never going to hurt you again. You have me if anyone else tries to harass you, I am going to protect you. You protect Hope and I protect both of my loves. That is my job as your husband to protect you and not for you to be hurt ever again especially by creepy men. No one hurts my wife."
"Killian..." She hugs her husband tight.
"I am right here, love. I am not going anywhere." He rubs her back as she cries into him. "You are safe love, you are not alone, Emma." Allison hugs her sister.
"I am here, Emma. Your big sister is here with you. You have me and Killian with you. You are not alone anymore. You have your family to protect you." She rubs Emma's back. Emma falls asleep feeling safe with her husband and sister. "Is this what happens usually, Killian?"
"During the flashbacks of her rape at times, yes, and this nightmare turned into flashbacks. I just hold her and comfort her until she calms down."
"Killian, you have me to help if Emma needs her sister."
"I know, love. I was the first person she trusted and leaned on about anything. I am just happy you and Emma found each other. Now Emma has you and me to go to when she has a flashback." Hope was crying. "I will get Hope." Allison gets her niece. "Hope, hi little niece. Mommy is okay. You are with Auntie Allison." She changes Hope's diaper and puts Hope back in her crib. Hope cried again and Allison takes her to her sister's room. "Killian, Hope wants to be held." She hands over Hope to her Daddy.
"Hi, little love. You are with Dada. Mommy is sleeping. We have to be very quiet." Hope gripped her Daddy. "Aye, I am very lucky tonight, Hope. Do you know why?" Hope looked up at her daddy with her matching blue eyes. " I get to snuggle with my two loves tonight you and your Mommy." He let Hope sleep on his chest. "I love you, Hope." Allison went back to the guest room to sleep, while Killian had his two loves sleeping on him.
The next morning, Emma woke up on Killian's lap and seeing Hope on Killian. She smiles and kisses Killian and Hope on their cheeks. "I love you both so much." Hope woke up and babbled. "Hi, baby girl." She takes Hope from her Daddy. "Hope, I am sorry I scared you last night. I had a very bad dream. I know I scared you, baby. I am so sorry." Hope placed her hand on her Mommy's face. "Hopey, I love you so much baby girl. Let's have some Mommy and Hopey time in the living room. We need to let Daddy sleep." Emma gets Hope's quilt and carried her daughter downstairs. Emma brought Hope to the reading room, "Hope do you want to read a book?" Hope smiled. "You like to read just like Mommy." Emma read Hope a few books, she loves reading to her daughter. Allison goes downstairs finding her sister and little niece in the reading room having mother and daughter time. She makes coffee for her brother in law and cinnamon hot chocolate for her and Emma. Allison heard the door and answers it. "Ted and Connor."
"Hi, Allison. Connor missed his Mommy all night. He could not wait any longer to see his Mommy."
Allison was in awe. "Connor." She takes her son from her husband. "Hi, baby boy. I missed you so much. We can cuddle." she gave Connor multiple kisses on his cheeks. Emma hears Allison screaming and sees her brother in law and nephew with her sister. "Hope. Your cousin Connor is here." Hope gripped her Mommy. "Hi, Ted."
"Hi, Emma. Hi, Hope."
"Hi, little man." She kisses Connor on the cheek. "Allison, Connor and Hope can play in the snow later."
"Yes, they can have their first snow day together. Ted, how did you both get here?"
"I called the car service."
"You did?"
"Yes, I did. Connor wanted his mama all night. He is so happy to be with you now. It is going to snow later." Connor babbled. "Yes, Connor we are with Auntie Emma and Hope. We are going to have a sleepover here."
"Big Sis, I think they want to play together."
"Yes, a very early in the morning playtime." Allison and Emma brought the babies to the living room. Hope did tummy time nearby her mommy and Connor stayed near his Mama. "My little boy. Are you happy to be with mama?"
"Mama." She gave Connor many kisses and lifted him up and down. Emma was happy to see her sister happy. "Allison, I know how much Connor missed you last night. I am sorry."
"Emma, it is not your fault. I volunteered to come over here because I knew you needed me. Now we get to have more sister time with the babies. We get to play with them in the snow for the first time." Hope began to cry. Emma nurses Hope rubbed her daughter's head. "Allison, I really am sorry."
"Emma, you have nothing to apologize to me for. You needed me. I am your big sister, I knew you needed me."
"But.."
"No buts Emma. You are my sister and you needed me. We are family, Emma. Family helps each other when you need them. I am in your support system now and forever." Emma hugs Allison.
"You are really my sister."
"Yes, I am Emma. You are my sister." They both teared up and hugged. Connor began to cry. "Connor, Mama is going to feed you now." Allison nurses Connor. Killian wakes up hearing his wife and sister in law talk. He sees Connor with his Mommy. He goes into the kitchen and sees his brother in law"
"Hi, Ted."
"Hi, Killian. How was last night?"
"It was pretty rough. Allison helped me with Emma. How was your night?"
"Rough, Connor wanted Allison."
"Aye, the little lad is happy to be with his Mommy." They cook breakfast for themselves and their wives. "Love, breakfast is ready."
"Okay, the babies are almost fed. We will eat after they eat." Emma burps Hope, and Hope wanted to be held. "Hope, you are with Mommy baby girl." They got the babies ready, Killian took out an old fashion sled, "Love, Hope and Connor can ride in here."
Emma was in awe. "Just be careful, Kilian. Do not go too fast." She places Hope in the sled in front of Connor. "Connor, you are going to ride a sled with Hope." Connor babbled.
"Emma, Killian is going to sloe right?"
"Yes, I made sure." Killian pulled the babies around the front yard, Allison and Emma took pictures of their babies having their first sled ride. Hope began to cry. "Little love." Killian takes Hope out of the sled, "Do you want help Dada to build a snowman?"
"Killian let me hold her so you can start building the snowman." She holds Hope. "Hopey, did you have fun in your first sled ride?" Hope smiled. "Yes, Dada is a good sled driver." Allison held Connor as they watched their husband teach the children how to build a snowman. Connor wanted to crawl, Allison watched him carefully, "Connor you want to help Daddy and Uncle Killian to build the snowman? We can help Daddy." Killian told Connor and Allison what to do. Emma enjoyed holding Hope and watching her family playing in the snow. After the family played in the snow, Alison and Emma changed their babies into warm clothes and played with them in the living room. Hope napped on her Mommy as Connor was being nursed. "Allison, do you think they had fun building their first snowman?'
"I think they did. Connor kept trying to climb the snowman." They both giggled.
"My little nephew wanted to see what his Daddy and uncle Killian were building." Allison giggles.
"He is getting into anything and trying to discover everything."
"I cannot wait to see that happen to Hope."
"She will. When she begins to crawl then we are in trouble because they are going have us chase them everywhere." Both babies were napping in Hope's room while the adults have lunch. As the day went on the snow came back, "Love, it is snowing again."
"Yes." She hugs her husband. "I am just happy you are home with us and not stuck in another state like on Christmas."
"Aye, I am not going nowhere, love. Do you want me to make a fire in the fireplace?"
"Yes, we can have cinnamon hot cocoa and cookies."
"Aye, a perfect snow day." They kiss. Killian makes a fire while Emma and Allison baked chocolate chip cookies together. They heard crying, Killian was holding Hope. "Emma, Hope wants her Mommy."
"Hi, baby girl. Did you have a good nap?" She holds Hope in her arms. "Hopey, you get to have more playtime with Connor later."
"Yes, you will little Hope. We are sleeping over tonight." She kisses Hope on her cheek. Hope grabbed her auntie Allison's face. "Allison, Hope wants her godmother." Emma put Hope in her sister's arms so she can finish baking."Hi, little Hopey. You just want one on one with your auntie." Hope smiled. Hope was babbling to Allison. Killian took pictures of Allison and Hope together.
Later in the evening, the two sisters were in the living room together while their babies were sleeping in their doc-a-tots. Allison checks her iPhone. "Emma. I got an email that I think you want to hear."
"What is it, Allison?"
Allison was crying. "Our birth mother responded..." Emma jaw dropped.
"Killian!" Killian and Ted rush in. "Allison got an email from our birth mother." Killian sat next to his wife and held her as Allison read the email.
"The email says, "Hi, Allison and Emma. I am your birth mother. I am sorry that it took me this long to respond to your email. I hope you both are healthy and happy. I want you both to visit me in Sicily, Italy. I know you have many questions about why I gave you both up for adoption. I will answer your questions when you come to visit me in Sicily, Italy. (Address)." Allison used google maps to find out where their mother lived. "Emma, our mother lives in a convent."
"Our Mom is a nun?"
"Apparently she is a nun."
"Aye, you and Emma will find out the whole truth when you meet her." Emma was crying.
"Allison, our mom wants to meet us."
"Yes, Emma. She wants to meet us." The two sisters hug. Hope fussed. Killian gets Hope from her dock-a-tot. "Little love, Mommy is going to meet her Mommy."
Emma hugs her husband and daughter. Killian places Hope into his wife's arms. "Hopey, you and your Daddy are going to be with me when I meet my Mommy."
He hugs his two loves."We are going to be on right on your side." They kiss. They all plan together on their first family trip to find their birth mother together. It is going to be their first of many family trips together of many to come.
