Sister Time

The following few days Allison took the rest of the week off. She was not ready to return to work. Her parents were there to comfort her, watch Connor, and be there for her. Emma would visit with Hope to have sister time after dropping off Henry at school. Emma went shopping for her sister's birthday with Hope. "Hopey, you can help me choose a birthday present for Auntie."

"Ah-ah!!" Emma chuckles. They found a present for Allison.

Mary Margaret calls. "Hi, Mom."

"Hi, honey."

"How is Allison?"

"She has been quiet. She has been mostly with Connor. I am worried about her. Your Dad told me that you can talk to her."

"I have a feeling Allison needs a sister night in. Can you and Dad please come over to watch the three kids?"

"Yes, we would be happy too."

In the evening, Killian returned home from work seeing his swan dressed and Connor in the living room playing with Henry and Hope and David. "Swan, you look so hot."

"Thank you." They kiss.

"How is our little one?"

"Growing. I feel him or her move."

"You are?"

"Yes, little flutters." She rubs her baby bump.

"Hi, Killian."

"Hi, Mary-Margaret."

"I am going to spend the evening with Allison. A sister night in."

"Aye, she needs a night in with her sister. I will be here with our children and our nephew." He rubs her baby bump. "You and the little one be safe."

"Me and the baby will be safe." She hugged her husband.

"Emma, I willbe back at Allison's later. I have a feeling Connor wants to be with his Mama after he plays with his cousins."

"Em-em."

She holds her nephew. "Hi, little man. You are going to play here with your cousins!!"

"Nana."

"Mom, Connor wants you to stay."

"I will bring him home tonight after he plays with his cousins."

"Love, I am going to drive you."

"You should rest. You were flying planes all day. I got my Mom to watch the kids so you can rest."

"I am not going to rest until I drive my wife and baby on the way safely to her sister's house."

"I will get my bag." She gets her bag.

"Mommy."

Emma hugged her daughter. "Mommy is going to see Auntie Allison. You are going to play with Connor and Henry."

"No."

She hugged her daughter. "Mommy will be back. You are going to have Nana here with you and Dada."

"Dada!"

"Dada is going to drive Mommy to Auntie's house. Then we can have Daddy and Hope time." He hugs his daughter. "Be a good girl, for Nana."

"Nana."

"Hope, we are going to have fun." She takes her granddaughter from her son-in law.

"Killian is going to drop me off."

"I have been trying to get her to talk. She has been quiet all day."

"I will get her to talk, Mom."

"Em-em, Mama."
