Allison was leaving the hospital from her night shift in the emergency room. On the way back to her sister's house, she went to Dunkin Donuts to thank her sister and brother in law for watching Connor overnight while she worked since Ted was at a conference out of town. Emma woke up a little later when Hope was awake. She enters her daughter's room. "Good morning, baby girl." She takes Hope out of her crib and hugs her daughter. "Do you want to play with Connor while Mommy makes breakfast?" Hope babbles. Emma sees Connor awake in the pack and play in the guest room."Em-em.""Hi, Connor." She takes Connor out of the playpen. "You want to play with Hope?" Connor smiles. She brings the babies to the living room and let them play. She goes to the kitchen to make scrambled eggs for them. Connor was playing with toys while Hope was scooting to the kitchen and finds her Mommy. She sat down by her Mommy's legs. Emma looks down and sees her daughter sitting by her feet. "Hope." Emma smiles and turns off the pan and scoops Hope into her arms. "Hope, Connor wants to play with you." She puts Hope back with Connor and watches them play. Killian joins Emma in the living room. "Morning, love.""Morning, honey." They kiss. "Can you watch these two while I finish cooking breakfast?""Sure, love." Emma goes back into the kitchen to cook breakfast. Thank you for the coffee and doughnuts.""Killian, you and Emma are letting me and Connor stay here and watch him overnight when I am at work. Emma places Hope on her lap after placing a plate of scrambled eggs in front of her daughter. Hope grabs the eggs and eats them. Killian takes pictures of Hope trying eggs for the first time. Hope smiles. "Yes, you were there for me, even when you were not born yet. I am going to tell the court my story to keep the bad man in prison. I want this world to have one less bad man on the streets hurting women."Hope babbles. "You think I am very brave." Hope smiles. Emma kisses Hope on the head. Killian joined his two loves. Hope is going to take after her Mommy.""It is my job to teach her to stand up for herself and to be protected.""We are going to be there for her, Emma. She is not alone." Hope gripped her Mommy's hand. "Yes, we are always going to be there for her and teach her." Hope chews on her Mommy's finger. "Hopey." Emma kisses Hope on the head. She looks at Killian. "I am scared...scared of telling my story in front of him...I know I am going to get flashbacks.""I am going to be there, next to you Emma when you face him." She kisses him on the cheek. "I am so lucky to have you. You gave me a home and a family that I always wanted. Now that I have our daughter, I want to make the world safer for our daughter.""Aye, I know you will keep him in prison, to make the world safer for our little lass.
