Boyfriend Troubles

I slept for an hour until Aurora and Benny came to hangout. The dogs curled up onto the couch in the corner of the room.

"Did Nico ever text you back?"

"I slept for an hour thinking when I woke up to a call or a text. But nada."

"You want me to call Enzo right now?" She shook her head yes.

I put the phone on speaker, the phone started ringing until Enzo answered.

"Hey baby, is there something wrong you called me less then an hour ago?" He sounded concerned.

"Nothing's wrong but is Nico with you?"

"No, why?"

"He's ignoring A and she's getting scared."

"Um, I think he's sleeping."

I could tell he was lying by the tone of his voice.

"Don't lie to me."

"I'm not a baby."

"Don't baby me, I can hear your lying voice. Tell me what's going on." Now I was pissed, he lied to me. Like what the fuck.

"He's asleep. What's your problem honestly?"

"You are full of bullshit. Call me when you want to tell the truth." With that I hung up.

"I'm sorry I made you get into a fight. This is my fault I should have never asked you to call Enzo."

"It's not your fault A, he's the one that's lying. And never apologize for anyones mistakes."

"What do you think what's going on?"

"Honestly at this point we can't do anything about it. The ball is in their court. So at the moment I don't know, don't care. Let's drink, I could need a bit of alcohol after that phone call."

"Agreed, great way to start off the first day. Our boyfriends being upset and getting drunk off of champagne."

We then broke out the champagne. Aurora and I began to drink to the point till we were a little bit pass tipsy. We made a huge bubble bath. We sat together with our heads and legs on different sides of the tub. Our conversation was nothing but slurred words.

"Like I don't understand his problem. It's all I'll miss and love you blah blah blah. To voicemail and left on read. Like what the fuck crawled up his ass and died?"

"Hey at least he didn't call you a bitch while we were in New York."

"Enzo called you a bitch?" Aurora hiccuped while pouring us another glass. 

"Yeah but him and I are over it. But sadly for him I cried. In the end I made him feel bad so I won. Nothing like sweet victory in a shitty fight."

"Guys suck. Maybe I should break up with Nico and become a slut."

Agreed. Trust me every girl has that thought at least once. Anyways you should have seen the way Enzo treated  me before he was nice." 

"What was he like towards you?"

"He was like you can't do this. You can't handle this lifestyle. You don't mean anything to me lalalala. Look at my masculinity, I'm right and you're wrong. Blah blah blah. Like really asshole look at what I'm doing now. Running The Women Interns or whatever we called ourselves."

"Nico was the same way. But I had already known him for too long. So I believed him."

"Never believe a man till he's proven not guilty or something like that."

"Look at us, tricking men. Beating their asses and tearing them down. What a great time."

"We're just living the dream."
