It's been almost 6 month since Aurora and Nicco broke up. Now Enzo was working and so was I. We see each other 2-4 days throughout the week. We've snuck around, going on dates. Sometimes we'd go on small trips for business. It was always New York and one trip to Ireland. But because of the shooting Enzo went with me. Aurora was doing better and was completely over Nico. He hasn't come back to Italy yet, to be honest I don't think he will for awhile. Good keep that skanky man away from Aurora. Enzo and I figured it would be the best for both of them. When it hit 4:30pm I went up to Aurora's room and knocked on the door.
"Come in."
She was playing music and painting her toenails.
"Hey girl, how are you doing?"
"Really good actually, I have a date with Felix tonight."
Felix was a guy she met at a bar, who turned out to be Enzo's new second hand man. My dad and I did a background check on him just in case. He has a full time job obviously, a nice car and a nice house. He treated her better than Nico ever did that's for sure. Felix was really cute, he had long dirty blonde hair. His eyes were dark green and dreamy. He was about 6'3 and was fit. He got along with everyone in the house, even all 5 dogs. Felix's way hotter and way nicer than Nico ever was.
"Oh la la. Where's he taking you?"
"A little whinery about 15 minutes away." "
"How many dates have you two been on now?"
"This will be five."
"Do you think he's going to ask you to be his girlfriend soon?"
"Hopefully, I thought Nico was prince charming. Let me tell you he's a peasant compared to Felix."
"I'm very glad to hear that. You know if he hurts you I'm beating his ass."
"Yes I know, you told him that to his face last week."She laughed.
"So how's the you know?" I winked twice.
"Juls!" she playfully hit me.
I looked at her waiting for an answer.
"Out of this world Juliet."
"Good for you. Good for you girl. That's probably why you're not as uptight as before." We laughed and she playfully hit me one more time.
"Anyways, how are you and Enzo doing?"
"About that um." I didn't answer.
"Please don't tell me Enzo knocked you up."
"AURORA!"
"Fine fine fine. What is it?"
"Well when we were in New York six months ago Enzo proposed... And I said yes."
"JULIET GALLO HOW COME YOU DID NOT TELL ME!"
"Oh my god Aurora calm down."
"Oh I'm sorry for over reacting because my SISTER did not tell me she had been secretly engaged. For SIX months. You need to tell me the reason why you didn't told me till now."
"Enzo and I wanted to make sure you were over Nico to tell you. And when I say to tell you I mean you're the first person to know."
"You're too good of a sister Juls."
"Aurora, we're best friends. You're opinion means a lot to me. I always want to make sure you come first."
"This means I get to help decorate everything and I'm going to be the maid of honor."
"Yes and Yes Aurora. Now Enzo and I have to figure out how to tell dad."
"Uh yeah, have fun with that."
"What? Now I don't get any help?"
"Not if it involves papa killing Enzo." We both laughed.
