It's been 2 months sense you and Calum broke up. Thinking back, you can't even remember what it was about or what led you two up to do this. A year of dating gone.. just like that.
But what hurt the most was Calum already getting a new girl. She was pretty. She had blonde long hair, green eyes and a cute smile. So you hardly ever wondered why Calum fell for her in the first place.
Now here you were. Prom.
Back then you'd probably think you'd be here with Calum, turns out he ended up with a beautiful girl and you.. you didn't even have a date. You wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for your parents, begging you to go to prom as they said ''You'll never have another prom.''
Because for the last 2 months you bearly went out and cried yourself to sleep most of the time. Everything seemed so pointless.
You sat at an empty table looking around not knowing what to do. the song you knew and loved came on by Lifehouse called You And Me. You spotted Calum leading the girl on to the dance floor as he wrapped his arms around her waist and she around his neck. They were close.
You just watched them for a few seconds. He looked happy, he had a smile on his face, but why? Maybe she made his happier then you ever did.
You felt the tears filling up your eyes while you watched him. The guy you loved, loving someone else. You stood up walking fast out of the big room.
You walked down the wide stairs with tears running down your face. Flash backs of every little moment you and Calum had.
''(Y/N)?'' you heard a familiar voice shout. It was Calum. You continuing walking down the lobby with Calum still following you. ''(Y/N)!!'' he shouted again and you stopped frozen. You didn't turn around, you could't face him. ''What?'' you say calm. ''Where are you going?'' he asks. ''Where do you think Calum..?'' you say. ''Home.'' you turn around. Calum's mood changed as he saw your wet cheeks with tears still going down them. ''But it's prom.'' he says. You shrug and shook your head. ''Yeah, we'll it's a little hard being here alone. Because i always imagined us going togather.'' you say. ''(Y/N) I-'' he starts but you cut him of. ''Don't Calum, just awnser this..'' you say. ''Do you love her?'' you ask feeling your heartbeat speeding up. He nods and in that moment you feel your heart being ripped into a million pieces. ''That's all I needed to know.'' you say tears now running down your face one after another.
