After 8 slow agonizing months it was finally here. The day myself, Rae, Cornelia, Quinn, Michael, Calum, Ashton and Luke have been waiting for. We've been planing a trip to California for about 2 years and we've finally gathered enough money to fly from Australia to California. We'll be staying at Cornelia's dad's beach house. Luckily Cornelia had 2 brothers so we had quiet a lot of space.

I putted the last piece of clothing item in my suit case and sighed from relieve. I lied down on the bed and closed my eyes to relax sense my whole day was filled with packing and lectures about being care full, no funny business and behaving my self. Even though we were all 18 or older most of us still lived with our parents. The only one who moved out was Ashton sense he is 21 and he's family was fairly big.
I heard a knock on my bedroom door and I sat up on my bed only to see my mother with another lecture face. ''God, what is it now?'' I say rolling my eyes, ''Don't you roll your eyes at me.'' she said coming in and sitting on the edge of the bed. ''I'm not here to give you another over protective mom speech, I just wanted to say that I am proud of you.'' she says. ''Why?'', ''Because, you all put in so much work into this trip and I have to say it's planned really good.'' she said nodding. ''Thanks mom.'' I smile at her. ''But sense I am here, I wanted to just tell you to be care full and don't dri-'', ''Sorry mom, I have to answer it's Calum.'' I interrupt her. ''Wait a min-'', ''Hey Cal!'' I answer the phone ignoring my her. ''Mom excuse me, it's a emergency call.'' I say putting my hand over the phone speaker. I shoo her out and she closes the door behind her, ''I'm guessing you got as many be care full lectures as me.'' he laughs. We were all best friends but there was no denying that Calum was the one I could really trust with EVERYTHING. He was like my best friend out of all the best friends.
''Dude, I swear if they tell me to be care full again I'm gonna stab my self in the face.'' I say and he laughs. ''You can't do that to me, who's gonna be my wing man when we go out to clubs.'', ''I prefer the term wing girl, my friend.'' I say. ''Alright alright, wing girl. Get some sleep because tomorrow is finally the big day.''

''Bye mom,'' I say hugging her. ''Bye sweetie stay safe, okay?'' she says kissing my cheek when she hears the car beeping. ''I will, I have to go everyone's waiting for me already.'' I say. ''Have a great time and call me when you arrive.'' she says as I open the front door ''Love you.'', ''I love you too, bye.''
I dragged my two suit cases down my drive way and the window in the back opened, ''Hey woman, need some help?'' says Michael looking outside with his black sunglasses on. ''Yes please.'', ''Okay, that would be 10 dollars.'' he says and I stick up my middle finger.
I open the trunk of the car and hear a door open and close. ''Let me help you,'' says Rae lifting up one of my suit cases. ''Thanks,'' I smile at her. I close the trunk back down and follow her in the van. ''Hey losers,'' I say climbing in. Calum pushes me playfully so I stumble a little bit, ''Bitch.'' I say laugh at him.
The driver drove off, ''Guy's am I the only one who still can't believe we're actually doing this?'' says Luke. ''I know right? It seems just like yesterday me and (Y/N) were washing cars for money.'' says Cornelia, ''If only I had a car.'' groan's Calum joking. ''Yeah you wish.'' I say.

''Okay, who else wants coffee?'' asks Quinn getting up from her seat in the airport. All of us stuck up our hands sense it was only 7 am and we left at 6 am. ''8 coffees coming right up.'' she smiles and turns on her heel, ''Wait up Quinn, I'm coming with you.'' says Michael sprinting behind her. ''Could he be anymore obvious.'' jokes Ashton and we all laugh. Calum comes over and sits in my lap, ''Can I help you?'' I ask. ''Nope, I just wanted to sit down.'' he says relaxing his full weight on me. ''You were just sitting, there's two seats empty and you choose to sit on me.'' I say pushing him off. ''Don't cry.'' he jokes.

I sat down made my way down the plane to my seat putting my back pack away. ''I'm so scared, I've never been on a plane before.'' says Cornelia sitting down next to me, ''Me too,'' I smile. I don't know why but at that time I was more excited than scared to be on that plane. I was finally facing the world and the best part was I got to do it with the people I love.
The flight was long and trough out the whole time I barely closed an eye. I didn't even feel like eating I just wanted to sleep and I could already feel the jet leg kicking in.
''We're here!'' squealed Quinn looking back from her seat in front of me and Cornelia. I looked out the window and smiled like an idiot. I turned to Cornelia and shook her form her sleep. I was surprised she could sleep trough this flight but I guess her sense her parents had a lot of money they traveled a lot.
''What what is it?'' she groaned opening her eyes. ''We're here.'' I say motioning my head to the window.

We rushed inside competing who'll get there first sense there were only 5 beds. Calum got in first with me right on his tail and we both rushed up stairs. I took a left turn and took a right, me getting Cornelia's brother's room. I lied down on the bed and the person getting into the room next was Michael. ''Hey roommate,'' he yells and I roll my eyes. ''if this is going to work we have to talk about your snoring.'' I laugh. ''How do you know I snore, you've never heard me.'' he says siting down on the bed. ''I didn't hear you but I did hear a lot complains from anonymous people.'' I say sticking out my tongue. ''Okay, it's not very anonymous if the only people that slept over at my house are Luke, Calum and Ash.'' he rolls his eyes. ''Whatever helps you sleep at night babe.'' I mock him.
''Have you guys seen the view?'' say Calum running inside our room. We both shake our heads, ''We'll come on then, it's amazing.'' says Calum and runs down stairs again. We walk down stairs behind him and out the balcony door that had a full display of the beach. ''It's amazing.'' I smile. ''Tell me about it,'' says Calum. I take a deep breath inhaling the California smell.
''Guy's it's set, we're going to a club tonight. Cornelia knows a great place.'' says Rea sitting down on the couch outside. ''Finally my wings girl with get in use.'' says Calum winking at me, ''Keep up that sass and you'll be finding your self a knew one.'' I joke.
