''I'm sorry baby,'' he says and tries to pull me to his embrace. I push him away standing up, ''I brush you of and now you're trying to hold me huh?'', ''But I'm going to tell you exactly what I know. Karma's a bitch I guess you should of loved the old me.'' I say. ''Now get out.'' I say pointing at the front door. Calum leaves speechless closing the door behind him.
I stand in front of the door for a few minutes trying to process what just happened. My tears come out again and I slam my hand against the door. I let my back slide down it and I get into a fetal position.
Now...
''Hey,'' greeted me Cindy and pulled me into a tight hug. ''Hey,'' I breathed into her neck. ''How're you doing today?'' she asks. ''Same as yesterday.'' I tell her searching around her fridge. I pull out a yogurt and take a spoon. ''God, I still can't believe what you told him.'' she says and scoffs. ''I mean, wow.'' she says and I just sit down on the bar stool.
''I do have to tell you something.'' she says. ''Huh?'' I mummer taking another spoon of yogurt. ''I have a date with Luke.'' she says. ''Oh my god really?'', ''Yes,'' she says smiling and jumping up and down. ''When did he ask you?'', ''Well, he invited me to go for a walk and we just kind of talked about stuff and then he may or may not have kissed me,'' she answers. ''I knew he always had a thing for you.'' I say trowing away the empty yogurt. ''I think I always liked him too, I just didn't realize it I guess.'', ''Well, I'm happy for you but I can't stay longer. My dad is making me go to that stupid dinner party he has.'', ''Okay, I'll call you after my date.'' she says and hugs me. ''Bye.''

''Meet Mr. and Mrs. Anderson'' introduces me my father. ''Hi, I'm (Y/N) nice to meet you.'' I say shaking their hand. ''Nice to meet you too. Your father told me you were 19, is that right?'' asks me Mrs. Anderson. ''Yes'' I smile at her. ''I have a son your age. Ow! Wait here I'll go find him.'' she says and makes her way to the end of the room.
''(Y/N) this is Rylie.'' she says and pushes him forward. He was cute; he had brown hair and green eyes and a smile to die for. Plus he looked really buff. ''Hi,'' he says shaking my hand and I just smile at him. Our parents walk away leaving us alone, ''Please tell me you're as bored as me.'' he says and I laugh. ''I am, my dad basically makes me go to these dinners,'' I say. ''So my mom said your my age. Which college are you in?'' he asks. ''I'm in USC,'' I say ''you?'', ''I'm in UCLA'' he says. ''Nice so your a sports kid of guy.'' I say. ''Yeah, I played basketball all trough out High School and I kind of want to make it to the big screen.'' he says.
''Have you seen the food here, it's amazing'' I say. He laughs; oh my jesus lord that laugh. ''Wanna go grab something to eat?'' he says. ''I thought you'd never ask.'' I say and he smiles. We go to the food bar and get some snacks and eat them still talking about our college experiances so far and stuff like that. Everything was going great until; I saw Calum. I almost dropped my food because my whole body went numb. He was in a tux looking all cleaned up and hot but I still hated him for what he did. And now I hated him for being here; why was he even here?
''Can you excuse me for just one seconds?''I say putting down my plate as Rylie nods. I walk up to Calum who was facing the other was and poke his shoulder. ''What are you doing here?'' I ask. ''(Y/N) wh-'', ''My mom she cooked for this party and she got the rest of the night off.'' he says. I just nod, I didn't know what to say. Every time I saw him a part of me just wanted him to hold me but the other was mad because he didn't when he had the chance.
''Um- Bye then.'' he says and walks past me. I watched him as he walked up to a blond girl hugging her and giving her a kiss on the cheek. My heart just flew to the ground. This was it. Even though I hated him I wanted him. I wanted him so bad because I missed him. The way we could do nothing all day and still have the best time of our life or how we'd go out to fancy dinners trying to look nice but make fun of how formal people acted. Having sex after a heated fight. Drinking beer and watching the sundown while listening to old music. Having long conversations until 5 in the morning. Seeing him trying to cook me breakfast, driving for hours because we had nothing to do. I did, I missed him so damn much.
Then suddenly mine and Calum's favorite song came on. The one he got tattooed on his arm; Biffy Clyro - Machines (listen to it on yt if you haven't heard it yet). I looked over at Calum catching him looking at me. He gave me a weak smile and I returned it. He walked over to me and Rylie and pulled out his hand. I looked at his and and back up at him. I took it.
He leaded me to the dance floor that was empty. He kept his hand on my higher back and I kept mine on his. It was the first time we danced this far away from each other, especially to this song. I looked his straight into his eyes and wrapped my hands around his neck pulling him closer. He immediately wrapped his around my waist and buried his face into the crook of my neck.
''I miss you,'' he whispered into my neck. I felt a wet spot on my shoulder knowing it was Calum's tears. I felt like his words were true. I really did. I don't know why but there was something in the way he said it that made me believe him.
I gave him a kiss on his neck, ''Why did you have to leave me?'' I whisper again. I could manage to go above a whisper, I could barely find the words. ''I'm sorry baby, I was so stupid'' he said and pulled away from the crook of my neck and looked me in the eyes again, ''I love you so much, I didn't want to leave you, I just thought it was the right thing to do.'' he said. ''Why?'',''Because the tour was starting in less then 2 weeks. I couldn't imagine me not being home with you, I couldn't imagine you being alone and missing me and me missing you. I thought that maybe if I broke up with you, I'd miss you less but I don't. I miss you more and more everyday. Please forgive me,'' he says.
''You don't understand how much pain you put me trough Calum,'' I say as he squeezes me harder into his hug. ''I can't tell you how sorry I am, just please give me another chance.'' he says. I pull away from his hug and slowly lean in. It felt wrong as I was leaning in but when our lips touched; damn it felt like heaven.
