I knocked on the wooden door 3 times before taking a step back. I was nervous about seeing Michael. Mostly because I was afraid things would be different and awkward between us sense we haven't seen eachother so long. I was also worried about Calum being there and as much as I wanted to see him, I wasn't ready yet.
The front door swung open revealing a smiley Michael. "(Y/N)!" he giggled pulling me in for a hug "Hi" I greeted him, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Come in" he said moving to the side I went in and took off my shoes and jacket "I ordered us some pizza" he stated proudly and dragged me into the living room. There was a pizza box on the table along with coke and a random cartoon playing on the tv "Still watching this?" I smiled "Forever" he said raising his hand up in a fist.
I took a seat next to him and grabbed a slice of pizza "So um- are the others home too?" I asked trying to sound as subtle as possible. "You mean is Calum here?" he asked and I nodded "No. He went out"
An awkward silence fell upon us even though I hoped it wouldn't and I thought about something to change the subjet but Michael bit me to it "So.. how are you otherwise?" he askes before taking a drink of his beer "I'm good I guess" "Anything new in your life?" he said continueing with his questions "I moved in on my own a month ago" I said "Awesome" he smiled at me before tirning his head to the TV.
After an hour or so of catching up I decited that I needed some me time today "I think I'm gonna get going Mikey" I said standing up "Already?" he fake cried "Stop" I giggled pushing him away from me playfully.
I made my way to the front door and putted on my shoes "Thanks for the pizza and I'm paying next time" I said "You're welcome. It was nice seeing you again" he said pulling me in for a hug "You t-"
The front door shot open, making us break the hug and Ashton, Luke and Calum came laughing and stumbling in.
Calum's smile faded as he saw me "Look who it is!" Luke said pointing to me. I earned a group hug from Ashton and Luke ignoring the stared tht Calum was giving me.
"We'll I gotta go. I'll see you around" I said looking at my feet before heading trough the front door. I kept walking until I hearf the door close and I immidiately put my hand over my heart, to get it to stop racing.
I practically ran to my car and sat down in the drivers seat. I took a deep breath to realize what the hell just happened. I didn't know why my heart started racing when I saw him. I didn't know if it was because I didn't think I'd see him again or because I was still in love with him.
My thoughts were inturrupted my Calum knocking on my car window. I rolled down the window and waited for him to speak "You forgot this" he said lifting up my jacket "Uh- thanks" I said taking it from him "No problem" he said and I nodded awkwardly.
He said and took a step back. I started rolling the window up so I could leave but Calum interrupted me again "Can I ask you something?" he asked "Sure" I said "Could we maybe meet for coffee tomorrow?" he asked "I don't think that's a good idea Calum" I said. I couldn't look at that boy for 10 seconds without feeling like I'm gonna have a heart attack "Please. Just to talk" he added "I'll think about it" I said rolling the window up and driving off.
I watched him in the mirror as he stood in the middle of the street looking after me.

I woke up around noon to the sound of raindrops tapping against my windows. I got out bed and walked straight into the kitchen making myself a cup of tea amd taking it outside to the porch. I sat down on a chair that was placen there along with another one and started sipping my tea and enjoying the sound of rain.
I haven't taken the time to think about coffee with Calum. I didn't want to go, I didn't want to see him or speak to him after everything that he's done on tour. I guess you could say that I was disappointed that he's become everything he said he'd never be. But I also wanted to go. I wanted to hear his soft voice, I wanted to hear him out and see what he wanted to talk about. I wanted him close to me because it hurt so much not to have him by my side.
I placed the cup of the on the ground and rushed inside to my bedroom to get my phone "You still up for coffee?" I texted him and waited unpatiently for an replay "Always :) " he texted back.

I got to the coffee shop around 5 pm. I spotted Calum with two coffees in his hand "Hey" he greeted me and I greeted him back "I got it to go, I thought maybe we could go for a walk." he said handing me mine.
"It's still raining outside" I said "I know" he said like I stated something ridiculous and heade twoards the main door "Okay.." I trailed off and followed him outside pulling my hood over my head.

"So how's life been treating ya?" he asked after a few minutes of walking "Depends" I say "On?" "On rather you want me to tell you what you wanna hear or the truth" I explained sipping my coffee

Trough out the day we shared stories that we've experianced in this past few months. But what was bothering me was Calum acting like he was meeting me for the first time today. He acted like the 2 years of our relationship never happened. I walked into the coffee shop in hopes of talking about why he actually left, hoping that finally I'd have an proper awnser instead of just blaming it all on my self. But this was another though I had to burry if I wanted him to stay for just a little while.
