"And he hasn't called you sense?" asked Jess. "No," I answer. "Seriously what an ass.", "No he isn't. I'm the one who said I wanted to be friends when he told me he didn't." I say taking a sip of water. "Do you want to be friends?" she asks. "I don't know anymore." I scoff. "So are you going to come to the bonfire, I mean I'm not going to lie Calum is going to be there?", "I guess. Gotta face the music sometime."

I put my car in park in front of the beach. I close my eyes and take a deep breath; honestly me and Calum have become strangers in these past 2 weeks. I really missed him and I honestly wanted to be with him but what if it doesn't work out? We would lose contact in a snap of fingers. I'd rather have him as a friend than lose him because of a stupid relationship.
I pulled the car keys out and opened the car door closing it once I got out. I locked it and made my way on the wooden path to where I saw a few people sitting around a fire. Even from a distence you could hear laughter, soft music and waves crashing.
"Hi guys," I greet everyone. "Grab a chair." says Michael and I look around for an empty one. I spot one opposite Calum and next to Jenna. I sit down and look to Calum only to have his eyes meet mine.
"Okay okay. Shut up everyone I have a new joke." says Luke. All of us booed and yelled loud 'no' knewing his jokes were the worst. "What did the one ocean say to the other?" he asks and his eyes were lighting up like a christmas tree. Everyone was quiet sensen nobody really cared, "Nothing, they just waved." he says and starts laughing on his own clapping his hands, "Get it? Because people wave their hand and oceans make waves?" he says laughing even harder. Everyone eyes each other and start laughing, "That was the worst joke I ever heard Luke." says Michael. Luke rolls his eyes grabbing his guitar. Jenna streches out and turns down the radio as Luke starts playing random things.
Then the all familiar sound of Amnesia went trough my ears. Calum looks over at Luke and smirks at him, "I drove by all the places we use to hang out getting wasted.." Mine and Calums eyes meet again and it felt like he was singing to me, "I tought about our last kiss how it felt the way you tasted. And even though your friends tell me your doing fine, are you somewhere feeling lonely even tough he's right beside you?" he sings again and I smile lowering my head.
The guys continue playing Amnesia and a couple of other songs until Ashton remembers he brought marshmallows. I shake my head laughing when Ashton gets excited about making smoors. I stand up to go get a blanket out of my car.
"Yo (Y/N) wait up!" says Calum running to me, "Sense when do you say yo?" I ask mocking him. He smiles as he slowls down his walking speed, "Look, I want to apolagize for how I acted. You gave me your honest opinion on the whole situation and I was too stubburn to accept it. What I wanted to say is I think we really should stay friends." he says. I don't know why but I felt kind of disapointed he didn't want us to be more then that, "Best friends." I correct him, "Always." he says and he pushes me playfully. He puts his arm around me.
