It was Friday and the boys were having a party. Well it wasn't exactly like a party because there was just 8 of us but anyway..
I was getting ready in my room putting on jeans and a shirt. As I ran down stairs I grabbed my jacket of the couch and yelled a quick goodbye to my mum.
Ashton's car was already parked in front of my house so I hurried a little bit.
''Hey,'' I say buckling my seatbelt. ''Hey,'' he says looking in the mirror for any cars. ''So where's the party this time?'' I ask. ''It's a surprise.'' He says smiling and driving off. ''I don't really trust yall with surprises. God know where well end up being.'' I say and he shakes his head giggling.
''Now let's see what you got,'' I said taking his CD's. I start going trough them when I come across something, ''Ricky Martin? Seriously?'' I say. ''Fuck you, he's great.'' He says smiling as he takes the CD from my hand and putting it back where I found the others.
''There we go!'' I say taking the ACDC CD and putting it in the player. ''I thought you lost your taste in good music for a minute.'' I say going trough the tracks and putting on You Shook Me All Night Long. ''It's only getting better baby.'' He says and I laugh.
A moments of silence passes between you to unti Ashton breaks it. ''So, did you talk to Calum yet?'' he asks casually. I roll your eyes because everytime I hang out with him this topic comes up. ''There's nothing to talk about Ash.'' I say. ''Yes, there is. You still don't know if he likes you back.'' He says. ''Clearly he doesn't sense he has a girlfriend.'' I say. ''Come on. You guys would be cute together.'' He says with a froun. ''Would you stop.'' I say giggling and pushing him playfully. ''No but seriously,'' I say as my smile slowly fades. ''I just don't want to tell him that's all.'' You say.
''Well suite yourself because I think he would like you back if you told him.'' He said to me as he made a left turn. ''We're here!'' he says smiling.
''You have got to be kidding me.'' I say messaging my tamples. ''What, don't you love it?'' he says laughing and getting out of the car. ''An old house? Yeah it's fucking amazing!'' I say sarcastcly. ''Come on.'' He says putting his arm around you.
When we walked inside everyone was already there. Dylan, Michael, Luke, Tamara and Calum and Zoey. Zoey was Calum's girlfriend and that's why I never told him I liked him. Plus we've been friends for about 6 years now and he never shouwed any sighns of liking be back.
''Hey!'' says Ashton hugging everyone. ''Hi,'' I say shy. ''Dude we forgot the wiskey!'' says Michael groaning. ''Seriously that was like the one job you had Michael.'' Says Calum rolling his eyes.
''I think I saw a store 10 minutes from here.'' I say. ''I can go buy it.'' I say. I didn't want to spend the night with Calum and Zoey anyway but then ''Okay, we'll come with you,'' says Calum pointing at Zoey and him self. ''Great.'' I sa forcing a smile on my face.
''Cool, we'll set everything up while your gone.'' Says Luke biting his lip ring. ''Let's go.'' Says Calum walking outside with Zoey's hand in his. I give Ashton a annoyed starte and leave.
The walk to the store was boring. Calum and Zoey were walking in front of me laughing and kissing while I walked behind them sick. Zoey was such a bitch. She literlly went out with every guy she ever met and dumped them 2 weeks later to go find a new one. How could Calum even like her? I mean she was cute but what's a pretty face when you have an ugly personalty.
As we reached the store I walked inside seperating my self from them. I got 2 bottles of whiskey and two cokes so we'd mix them up.
''(Y/N)?'' I hear a familiar voice call behind me. ''Zoey and I are going to head back.'' He says. Like why the hell did they even come with me? I nodd an put the last coke in my basket. I look around the store trying to find something to eat. I got some candy and left for the regester.
''ID please.'' Says the girl behind it. I pull out my wallet and show it to her hoping she wouldn't notice that it was fake.
She gave me a suspicious look but scaned the alchocol anyway.
I putted everything in a plastic bag but the candy and made my way out. I looked around and it was already getting dark so i hurried back to the old house.
I ate the whole candy pack as I walked thinking about Calum. Why am I even so hung up on this guy. He's an asshole. And then he just comes here with he's puppy eyes and his sexy hair looking all hot and UGH.
I opened the old door of the house and everyone was laughing and enjoying them self. There was quiet music in the background and I putted the plastic bag on the floor, sitting down next to Ashton.
''Yes!'' says Michael excited. He stood up getting the red cupps and filled them half with wiskey and half with the coke. Just as everyone was about to take a drink Michael shouted ''Stop.'' Everyone froze and Michael smirked. ''I've got a suprise.'' He says standing up again and reaching for his backpack. He brings out plastic shot glasses and a bottle of tequila.
''Dude, you said you forgot it at home.'' I say angry. ''No, i said i forgot the wiskey at home.'' He says sitting back on the floor. He filled the shot glasses up and gave everyone one.
''To what ever this is.'' He says putting his glass up. The room filled with a couple of ''cheers'' and then everyone took the shot making a sauer face.
By the time one whiskey, half of the tequila and one coke were gone, everyone was a little bit drunk. I stood up balacing my self on my feet and took cigarettes out of my bag. I walked outside sitting on the stairs in front of the front door. The stairs looked liek they were just about to fall apart but at this point i didn't even car. I sat down and lighted it up as I heard the door behind me open. It was Calum ''Mind if I join?'' he says sitting down next to me. I shake my head and he takes a cigarette of his own.
Everything was quiet for a moment until I spoke. ''Why are you even with Zoey?'' i say. It was the alchocol talking because i can assure you I'd never ask this sover. H shrug and looked over at me. ''What do you mean?'' he asks inhailing. ''I mean she's a bitch and sorry for saying this but a whore too. She's been with a million guys, why do you want to be a part of them.'' I say. ''She's really not that bad if you get to know her.'' He says. I sighn looking around the empty street in front of me. ''What's on your mind?'' he says. ''Nothing.'' I say lening back on my elbows. ''Tell me.'' He says pushing you playfully. ''I can't.'' i say glancing over at him.
I close my eyes enjoying the silence for a moment. ''Are you sleepy or something becaus ei can drive you home if you want.'' He suggsests. ''I'm not.'' I say. ''Then what are you doing?'' he say. ''Okay, come here.'' I say walking up to the grass. I lied down and Calum did too. ''Now close your eyes.'' I say closing mine. ''Okay what now?'' he asks. ''Take a breath and count to 10.'' I whisper.
Everything was silent for a bit ''Open them.'' I say opening them. ''Now count the starts and let the world go round without you.'' I say.
5 minutes pased by. ''Wow- this is really mindblowing.'' He says smiling. ''I know right, when i'm stressed out i do this and i just feel one with the world. At peace.'' I say. Calum looked over at me and i looked back at him. If i wasn't drunk i could 100% say that we just had a moment.
He started at me in the eyes for a while and started lening in.
