It was like anyother day at school. I sat in my chair at the back of the classroom twirling my hair between my fingers as I impatiently waited for the final bell to ring. The math teacher Mrs. Bay was explaining yet another formula I couldn't care less about. I didn't understand where or for what for in the future we'll need the square root of 10. I hated math not just because I didn't understand it there was also the fact that I thought it was useless and I am pretty sure everyone in this school feels the same.
The bell finally went off, the students sprinting out of the school while I stayed behind waiting for my friend Maggie to pick me up.
I held my books in one hand and typed a message to my mom that I'm now leaving school and staying over at Maggie's house. Hearing a loud beep I looked up from my phone after pressing send and saw Maggies red car infront of me.
Maggie was a senior and a year older than me. You could say she didn't have one flaw about her because she literally didn't. She was nice and beautiful, sporty and all beyond that. She also came from a very rich background for example her grandmother use to own a clothing line back in the 60's that brought them millions. Her mom was a lawyer and a very good one may I mention, whilst her dad was the CEO of a company somewhere in New York. Her parents split up when when she was in 5th, so she spent her summer's in New York with her dad and attended High School here and lived with her mom. Her mom is a busy woman sense she is a lawyer, so she's barely home with Maggie. This has it's pros and cons; for example pros: she can basically do what she wants and when she wants; cons: she missed her mom more than she liked to admit.
I smiled before entering her car, "Hey" she greeted me immidiately driving off "Hi" I greeted her back and buckling in my seatbelt.
"How did you do on the sience test?" she asked glancing over at me "Terrible" I whined supporting my head with my hand "It's definitely going to be an F, so I'm enjoying my freedom while it lasts." I said "We'll lucky you Ashton is coming over with a couple with his friends and I invited a few people too. It's not gonna be big it'll just be a little get togather." she said stopping at a red light "And by the way do you mind if we stop at the store I need to but some stuff" she asked "Not at all"
We arrived at the store and immediately split up to get everything we needed as fast as possible. I was in charge of snacks and cup and Maggie was in charge of alcohol sense she's the only one who had the fake ID.
I walked down the aisle and grabbed a couple of snacks before getting the cups and a lot of orange juice and cocacola. I pushed the card to the kids aisle where we said we'd meet up and as if on que, she came from around the corner all smiles.
We went to the register and placed everything on the treadmill as the cashiers scanned everything. When she reached the alchocol she stopped and asked Maggie for her ID which she gladly gave. The cashier gave us both a little suspicious look but scanned the items anyway.

When we arrived at her house we carried the bags into her house and immediately started to unpack. Maggie turned on the sterio and putted her playlist on shuffle.
"You know Ashton's friends are really good looking" she said smirking at me from the other side of the table "Especially his friend Calum" she added and I rolled my eyes "Okay cupid don't get too excited. You know I hadn't had anything with a guy in months" I said pulling another bottle of liquor out of the bag "So? Like you said you're mom will probaby ground you for god knows how long, might as well enjoy your last day of freedom" she said "I don't know Maggie. I like the way things are now which is drama free. I don't have to worry about anything a-" "but school" she cut me of "Besides that" I giggled "Anyway I guess we'll see. Depends on how he is. No promises" I finished.
