It was about 11pm. You were sitting on the couch looking out the window at the city. How some lights turned of and how some of them got turned on. It made you wonder why are they up, why are they asleep, it made you wonder if their lifes were as complicated as yours.
It made you tear up just thinking about how you and Calum use to be close. And now? Now you were two strangers living under the same roof. Everyday when he came from work, he'd kiss you and ask you about your day and if he couldn't make it home before you fell a sleep he'd call you. He'd take you on cute dates, like this one time when he took you camping. That night you forget everything. It was just you and him. He'd help you cook, he'd turn on the music and you had a cook party, you'd sing all your favorite songs and he'd dance with you. You missed everything, the sleepless night when you waited up for him to come home. Everything gone.
Thinking about all that made you cry. You heard the front door open and Calum walked in. "(Y/N)?" he says coming up to you. You look up at him and half smils. "Whats wrong?" he asks you sitting down next to you. "I was thinking about you-us." you said. "(Y/N), if this is headed the way i think it is, just stop right there. And let's just talk it over and-" he says. "Calum, I'm done talking." you cut him of and shut gkur eyes. "We have lost it all and you know it." you say opening them. "I-i just I miss you and I need you. I love you more then words can say and it get's harder everyday." you say. "I'm sorry, it's this way. And if after today I don't see your face, I just want you to know that no one can take your place." he says. You start crying even more. "You changed my life, i want you to know that." you say. He strokes your cheek and says. He just nodds and tears fall down his cheeks. "What happened to us?" he says. "I think that we were meant to fall in love Calum but i just think we weren't meant to be togather."
You woke up to a thunder storm. You sat up and your face was wet from your tears. "Babe?" says a familiar voice. The night ligjt gets turned on. It was Calum. "Why are you crying?" he says sitting up and pulling you in a hug. "It was just a dream." you quietly whispser to your self. "What?" he asks you. "Nothing i just had a dream that we broke up. It was just so real. It felt like it was real life and-" you say. "It's okay baby. I'm here and i'm not going anywere." he cuts you of and kissea the top of your head. "I love you. Always. You know that, right?" he says. "I know Cal." you say and kiss his neck. "And i love you tok." you say. He lays down and wrapps his hand around you. "Goodnight beautfiul." he says and kisses your lips. "Goodnight handsome." you say when he stops kissing you. He smiles and turns out the light.
