"You guys live pretty far out of...well everything," I said lightly before a nervous laugh left my lips as I looked out of the passenger window. Jungkook insisted I rode shotgun while practically pushing me inside the car, saying "You won't regret it." before smiling wildly at me.
What I wouldn't regret I wasn't too sure of yet considering the only thing I had seen for the past thirty minutes were trees, trees, and you guessed it, more trees.
"Yeah, we like our privacy," Tae said from behind me. My brows furrowed. That definitely could've been said in a way that didn't give off a creepy, serial killer vibe.
"Yah! You make us sound like murderers or something, Tae. You're going to scare her," Jimin scolded.
Too late.
Tae muttered a halfhearted apology but didn't say anything after that. I peeled my attention away from the window to look at Jimin when I heard him sigh softly.
He glanced at me with a small grin. "It's not like that's the only reason we are a bit far away from town," he began, turning his eyes into those small moons that made my heart thump in my chest.
"Yes, we like the seclusion, but it was also the only plot of land that we could find that was big enough," he expanded as his eyes watched the road. I tilted my head in confusion.
"Big enough for what?" I asked, albeit a little nervous for the answer.
Big enough to hide the bodies of previous assistants they had hired only to quench their murderous thirst?
He pointed to my window. "For that." I felt the car come to a slow stop and I followed his finger, looking through the glass and the break of trees we were parked in front of.
My jaw dropped as I rolled the window down in an attempt to get a better look. "That...that's your house?" I scoffed after my question. "Is that even considered a house? At what point do they start naming things castles?"
The guys behind me chuckled softly, but I couldn't tear my eyes away from the massive, beautiful mansion in front of us. I couldn't imagine what it was going to be like up close, seeing as how it was this huge from this far away.
I knew I was looking at the back of the house by the humongous pool that took up the majority of the lawn space. I saw two stories above the pool, but the walls were made of glass with a slightly thick, black trim that separated out the rooms, giving it a very modern feel.
It wasn't a clean-cut normal house.
Shocker.
It looked like it was built into the hill we were driving on, the house itself surrounded by thick, lush trees and grass.
It was beautiful. Add to that the sun that was setting right behind it and it looked like something that came out of a Bob Ross studio.
Jungkook leaned up and rested his chin on my shoulder. I craned my neck to look at him, putting our mouths within inches of each other. He noticed too and smiled. "Told you you wouldn't regret it."
