🥀✨🥀✨🥀"You alright?" Yoongi's voice was deep as he patted my back like Hobi had done only moments before. Pictures and memories of my dream flooded my brain and I gulped.
He rubbed soft circles until resting his hand on my back. The spot heated up from his touch and I cleared my throat for what must have been the tenth time that morning.
"Yup, all good." I stood up and grabbed my plate, not trusting myself to make eye contact with literally anyone at that point.
I could've eaten more, but I put the dish in the sink per Jin's gesture and rested my butt against it as I suddenly found my dress very interesting.
Maybe if I just didn't look at anyone, then I wouldn't be at risk of dying via food lodged in my throat.
"Good morning, everyone!" My plans of avoiding people went out the window when I heard Namjoon's voice float into the kitchen. His tall figure entered the room and several of the others greeted him back while he grabbed food from Jin.
He sat down while pushing a bite into his mouth before his gaze found mine. His jaw slowed to a stop as his eyes trailed downward, leaving a trail of scorching heat down my body.
A small smirk formed when he reached the black shoes on my feet. "Good morning, Violet." I swallowed from the richness of his tone but grinned.
"Morning, Namjoon." I was thankful my voice was even despite the shiver that worked through me.
"Has anybody seen Tae this morning?" He asked after he looked around the room.
"Right here." The deep voice echoed as the man himself walked into the room. He was fixing his tie while his eyes flitted around before landing on mine.
He smiled softly and walked over, making sure to grab a plate of food before leaning against the counter next to me.
"Sleep okay?" He asked me. My dream popped into my head and I threw a glance at Yoongi who was grinning down at his food. I nodded and looked up at Tae.
"Slept great. You?"
"Like a baby. How's your arm?" I figured he wouldn't waste time in asking me, and I made sure to grab a dress that would cover the mark for that reason.
I stepped forward and grabbed the mug of coffee Jin gave me before leaning back against my spot. I debated on how honest I wanted to be. I didn't want to hurt him again, but I think our moment yesterday helped with his guilt.
"It's a little sore. Kind of stiff. Nothing a little Tylenol won't help with. Do you know where I can find some?"
"We're out. I took the last of it the other day," Jungkook said as he and Hobi walked in fully clothed and hair wet from a shower. I furrowed my brows as I looked them over.
