My thumbs flew over the keyboard on my phone as I sent a paragraph of updates to Jisoo. In the span of only a couple of weeks, so many things had happened that it felt like it had been months since we last saw each other.

Between Xiumin and Chanyeol, Suho and the memories there, Sehun and his "war" with Namjoon... It was enough to make my hair gray with stress, and my forehead wrinkle into a permanent frown.

But with those moments came some of the sweetest, hottest, ground-breaking memories with the guys. My date with Jimin. Straddling Hobi in his studio. Jin and the mirror.

Tae and his bed.

The blood in my veins heated from the thought. Sure, there were additional aspects to my life that I'd rather live without, but with the bad came the good, and I wasn't going to give that part up so easily. And I certainly wasn't going to complain about the orgasms.

My footsteps echoed through the quiet house, confusing me. It was Wednesday, but when I asked Jin if I could take a day off, and use the one I was meant to have off a few weeks ago-the one formally known as "The time Violet saved our asses and secured five hundred million won," he agreed immediately.

That wasn't the surprising thing, though-it was the fact that they all worked from home that day, so I wouldn't be alone. Cute, right?

So, I was expecting to hear them up and moving since I slept in later than usual, but I was met with an eerie silence. It wasn't until I was within earshot of the living room that I was positive someone was home.

"Jungkook, I said drop it."

The growled words reached my ears. My steps halted, as did my breathing. I barely recognized Namjoon's voice-there was an edge of darkness to it I'd never heard him use before.

"No, Hyung! This isn't just some meeting at work you can keep pushing back until it's convenient for you. This is her!"

Jungkook's voice echoed through the living room and hallway, making me flinch in surprise. I sighed softly. They were fighting... Again? For a split second, part of me considered marching in there and demanding they stop whatever the hell it was they were doing before there was permanent damage to their friendship. But something in the way he phrased his words piqued my interest, stopping me from doing so.

What did he mean by "her?" I sincerely doubted it was about someone other than me, but with everything going on in the house lately, it could've gone either way.

I looked around-the rest of the hallway was empty, leaving me completely alone. My brain urged me to walk away; If they wanted me to be part of the conversation, I would've been invited. But my nosey nature impeded any good morals I had, and my body refused to budge unless it was to get closer to the action. So, with a good mental lashing to myself, I inched closer until I was right outside the door, keeping as quiet as a mouse.
