Blinding Lights

Gaster woke up as usual, feeling the sunlight of a warm april on his face.

It was a beautiful day outside: birds were singing and flowers were blooming. The rays of sunlight hit his face from the curtain, and blinded him, which made him slightly flinch in anger: if there was a thing he hated, it was being waken up by sunlight filtering through the curtain.

"Maybe I should just move the bed somewhere else in the room..." he said with his morning voice, and got up from his king-sized bed, a bed way TOO large even for him, and directed towards the bathroom.

"Now that I think about it...I don't really need a big bed like this. I'm single after all" he thought in the process.

Once he got there, he put on some gloves, not to let water fall through his holes, and washed his face.

It was refreshing at least, and he fully woke up from the slumberness.

He then looked at himself in the mirror: some water was dripping down his skull, and his naked ribcage was showing all of its majestic features.

He touched his collarbone and one of his ribs, and shivered at the touch of his cold fingers, covered by the wet glove.

"Ugh, whatever, another day. Better hurry before I get late" he said, grumpy as ever.

He returned into his bedroom, a modern room with dark grey walls and a white floor, with some plants there and then. He opened his white tall wardrobe and chose his usual outfit: a white turtleneck, black trousers and a black lab coat.

It was like pure darkness.

He then grabbed a toast from the kitchen and got out of his house.

His house was in the middle of Ebbott City, and he had a beautiful sight of the mountain in front of the town.

He was hit again by the sunlight.

"Geez, you won't surely leave me alone, would you..." he said, talking alone with the light, and closed the door.

He surely preferred darkness.

He looked near the mountain: there, at its roots, was the laboratory known as his lab's rival. No one knew what scientist were working on there. It could even be considered as abandoned. It was probably a secret project.

It made Gaster sick, thinking that HIS lab had to compete against a little and secret lab like that one.

He then started walking in the streets, his lab being his only destination.

"I do hope my subordinates are already there...I don't want to scold them again for waking up lat-"

Suddenly, he bumped into someone.

Ugh, even this now...

He turned around and saw the person he bumped onto.

A girl, probably of his same age, wearing a tight white jacket, slightly large trousers, black coat and black heels. She was carrying a black purse on her shoulder, and around her neck a necklace of a golden snowflake.

But it wasn't only that: she had the same vibe Gaster had.

She looked up at him, raising only one eye-brow, almost as if she felt she was more superior than him.

"I'm sorry, mister" she said with a rude tone.

And with that, she went off.

Damn, just who do you think you are?
