It was cold. So cold.

Everything was so cold.

The darkness was cold.

The screens showing the timelines were cold.

One white filament starting from the thumb approached a screen in which a husband cried for his wife's "death". Another filament, starting from the index finger, approached a screen showing a skeleton playing with his son. The filament starting from the anular finger approached another screen, in which the skeleton kid from before was now grown up and was fighting against a human with a green shirt with yellow stripes, only to end up dying.

It was so cold that it was even sad.

Being an anomaly when you were once part of a timeline surely wasn't the best of things: it was like you weren't yourself anymore.

You weren't yourself after all anymore.

"Gaster..." you said crying.

Not being hugged for ten years by the man you loved the most felt so cold.
