"J-Jeremy..." I whispered. Jeremy sighed.

"I know.. you don't have to say anything. I know," Jeremy said, looking down at the pillow.

"You know what?" I asked.

"You don't love me.. you're not in love with me."

"I love you," I nodded, placing a hand on his chest.

"But you're not in love with me." He looked down to my hand on his chest.

"I hate it when people put words in my mouth," I said, staring at him. He met my gaze.

"I know how this goes; in the end you're not in love with me... are you?" he said. We sat in silence and I saw his eyes start to get wet.

"Jeremy.. I had a dream last night."

"What happened?" he asked. I began to explain it. I got to the part about his bulge, "Did we?!" he yelled.

"No." I shook my head. "Anyway, I got through the important part.."

"Is that your way of telling me you're in love with me?" Jeremy asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes.." I responded. Jeremy got on top of me and pressed his lips to mine.

"Lendzie, I can't hide it anymore. I want you. I need you. Literally and sexually."

"Oh, that's nice," I laughed.

"Without you I'd be falling apart. Without you I wouldn't get awkward boners in science class."

"I'm glad I can cause you embarrassment," I smiled, pressing my lips back to his. He flipped us over.

"KIDS! WE'RE HOME!" came a shout from downstairs. Jeremy and I fell off the bed.

"Ow, you landed on my dick!" Jeremy said, pain in his voice.

"Sorry," I sighed. "God, your dick is always in the way!"

"He's just too big," Jeremy smiled. I rolled my eyes and stood up. "Don't leave me," he whined, standing up.

We jogged downstairs. There, the two people I didn't miss at all stood.

"Hey, baby!" Mom smiled, pulling me into a hug. I didn't hug her back.

"Jeremy! Hey, buddy!" Jeff said, patting Jeremy on the back.

"Hi Dad.." Jeremy said. Jeremy seemed to tolerate his dad pretty well when he wasn't drunk.

"Have you went to the store?" Mom asked.

"We went Sunday," Jeremy nodded.

"Fix us something!" Mom demanded. "This is our honeymoon. I'm not cooking." Bitch,
you just got back from your honeymoon. You better snap out of it.

"Come on," Jeremy said, taking my arm and leading me to the kitchen.

"I don't know how to cook," I huffed.

"I know a little.." Jeremy said, searching through the pantry. He smirked and grabbed a box. "Hamburger Helper. Fuck yeah."

I laughed. "I could've done that."

"Yeah, okay," he nodded, tossing me the box.

We fixed it and Mom complained about how we didn't make a "real meal." I replied with, "Well, you never make a real meal. I'm not even sure what a real meal is cause I've never had one." She shut up after that.

The days dragged on, and eventually they seemed to repeat themselves.

I'd wake up, and Jeremy and I would scramble to get ready in time. We'd stop by Neil's house every Wednesday and walk with him. We'd get to school and be picked on. I'd manage through the day after hearing Neil's latest "my dad sucks" news and Josh's "my dad threw another bookshelf at me."
