"Lendzie," Jeremy sang. I slowly looked up at him. "Are you sure you're okay?" he asked for the eighth time today.. Well technically the first time he asked 'are you okay,' but still..

"Yes," I responded.. for the eighth time.

"You're not okay..." he mumbled, shaking his head and sitting down in front of me. I slammed my folder shut and threw my pencil at him. "Ow!" he said after it hit him in the forehead. "What's wrong?" he asked, picking up the pencil. I sighed. "Please tell me. I wanna help."

"I'm jealous," I admitted, folding my arms.

"Of what?" Jeremy asked.

"You and Neil," I said. "I didn't want whatever happened last night to've happened."

"Oh," he swallowed. "Why did you let us do it then?"

"I don't know," I said.

"Can we all forget that last night ever happened?" Neil asked, walking in and sitting down.

"Last night wasn't very good for any of us," Kevin said. Josh was absent to the group, but I'd seen him in math where we had assigned seats. I glanced around the room and saw Josh in the opposite corner with some fuckgirl.

How Josh could get with anyone-even the schools whore- with his social status amazed me.

"What happened last night?" Alex asked, approaching us for the first time in a month or so. We all looked at him. "Guys.. I'm sorry I was such a dickhole... I realized it doesn't really concern me anyway." Everyone nodded. Alex took a seat in Josh's usual place. "So, what happened?"

"Neil and Jeremy got a little close, Josh walked in, Jeremy had a nervous breakdown, Josh and I broke up," Kevin said.

"Yeah, that about sums it up," I nodded.

"What..? I thought Lendzie and Jeremy were dating."

"Oh, we are, but.. well it's a long story," Jeremy sighed.

"Why did you have a nervous breakdown?" Alex asked.

"It wasn't a nervous breakdown," Jeremy shook his head.

"Yes, it was," Kevin argued.

"No, it was an anxiety attack," Jeremy said.

"Whatever." Kevin shrugged.

"Why?" Alex asked.

"Long story.." Jeremy sighed.

"You shouldn't have left the group. You'd've been invited to the sleepover," Neil said.

"Honestly, I just miss drumming. I'll just have to get over you two.." Alex shrugged.

"I never said you had to like it. Just not argue about it.. Get over it," Jeremy said. Alex nodded.

The bell rang and we all faced the front with a sigh.

-

Jeremy and I walked home in silence.

"You're never this quiet," he noted. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"Nothing," I said.

"Stop lying to me." He stopped in his tracks. I stopped too after about three steps. "It's getting annoying."

I took a deep breath. "Whats wrong with me?! My mom is a fucking whore! That's what wrong with me!" I yelled.

"What...?" he whispered, walking closer.

"My mom is a fucking WHORE!" I screamed.

"Elaborate!" Jeremy yelled, grabbing my arms.

"She has another kid." I sighed.

"What..?"

"My mom.. she has another kid. She cheated on my dad a long time ago. The kid.. he's like twelve I think."

"Well, if he's is twelve, you'd have been four, you couldn't remember that," Jeremy said.

"Good math. I met him a while back," I said.

"Why is this just now bothering you?" Jeremy asked.

"Because.... He's having problems, apparently.. and their handing him over to my mom. They say the dad isn't fit to raise a kid."

"Neither is your mom," Jeremy said, dropping his hold on my arms.

"I know.." I nodded.

"What are you going to do with him?" Jeremy pulled me along. "We only have two bedrooms; they're both occupied."

"I don't know, Jeremy." I sighed, shaking my head.

"Don't tell me we have to split a bedroom with this kid." He sighed.

"I don't know yet."

"Can't we just throw him on the couch?" Jeremy groaned.

I didn't bother saying "I don't know, Jeremy," because he obviously wasn't listening.

"Well, if this is what's been bothering you, did you lie in science? I'm not mad if you did I just wanna know if-"

"Yeah. I was jealous. Still am, sorta," I admitted.

"Don't be," he said as he wrapped an arm around my waist and kissed my cheek softly.

-

"Let me love you," Jeremy said, pushing his face closer to mine. I sighed and put my phone down. Jeremy wrapped his arm around me and threw his leg over my knees. He kissed my cheek and grabbed my phone. "What have you been doing?"

"Nothing," I said.

"So you're not gonna fight to get it back?"

"I don't have anything to hide."

"Hmm.." Jeremy said, quickly unlocking my phone.

"How do you know my passcode?"

"I just do," he shrugged, looking in my DM's on Instagram.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Nothing..." he replied. I stared at him. "Well.. I can't trust DM's anymore.. not after what happened with Kevin."

"Whatever." I shrugged.

"You're clean," he said, moving on to my text messages. "Who's Gabe.. oh, wait that's your little boyfriend."

"I don't have shit to hide. If anyone has anything to hide, its you," I said. "And you're my boyfriend. Gabe isn't hot."

"What would I hide?" Jeremy asked.

"A secret affair with Neil!" I laughed.

"Wanna check it?" he asked.

"Yes," I nodded. He picked his phone up from the bed behind him and handed it to me. "What's your damn passcode?"

He looked at me. "You know my passcode," he sighed. I sat silently and thought for a while. "0922," he said.

I sat blankly for a second after I typed it in. "How was I supposed to know that?" I asked.

Jeremy looked a bit hurt. "Don't you know what that is..?"

"No... what is it?" I asked. He stared at me.

"You're joking.. right?" He laughed softly.

"No.." I replied.

Jeremy went from looking a little hurt to a lot hurt.
