"I'm not," I replied. "Don't get all jealous."

"Good. I'm the only one you can stare at," Jeremy replied. I laughed softly. "Besides, I'm not jealous."

"You want me to stare at you?" I asked jokingly. "You're totally jealous."

"Sure," he replied. I laughed and he hugged me into his chest. "I'm dead serious."

"I'm not," I laughed. Jeremy rolled his eyes.

"Shut uuuuup," Neil groaned from across the room.

"You shut up," Jeremy sighed.

-

"Neil, no!" Jeremy yelled. I jumped awake. Jeremy and Neil looked in the bedroom from the hallway. They way the hall light was positioned, it didn't shine in my room, they couldn't see me.

Neil and Jeremy turned back to each other. "Why not?" Neil asked.

"Because... because I can't!" Jeremy replied, stomping off to the bathroom. I laid back down quickly and Neil flipped the light off. He walked into the bed because he couldn't see.

"Mmm!" Neil muffled a yelp. He climbed into the bed.

Jeremy came back seconds later and slid in next to me. He let out a breath of air.

-

"Wake up." Jeremy groaned, "It's Wednesday."

I opened my eyes to see Neil towel-drying his hair. He smiled slightly and threw the towel into the laundry. He collapsed on the bed.

Jeremy kissed my cheek and went to take a shower. Neil turned to me. "How many times?

"What?" I asked.

"How many times?"

"How many times what?"

"Have you done it?"

"Ew! None!" I yelled.

"Suuuure," Neil nodded. I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Wait, seriously?"

"Yes, seriously."

"Jeremy ain't lettin you have the D?" Neil asked.

"We got together like a few days ago, Neil, give us a break," I sighed.

"Whatever. Not like it's my business anyway." He shrugged.

-

"Lendzie! What's number eighty-seven?" Mrs. Simmons asked.

I looked up at the board. A bunch of numbers, diagrams and equations that had no meaning to someone who wasn't paying attention. I shrugged. "Hallway," she said, pointing out.

I sat out in the hallway. I was nearly immediately joined by Josh. "How did you get out here?" I asked.

"I yelled at her," Josh shrugged, sitting down and leaning against the lockers next to me. Josh sat a little too close for my comfort, but I let it be. He's one of the people on my short list of friends, and I don't want him to feel like I don't like him.

"Why?"

"Because she always calls on you when you aren't paying attention. That pisses me off," Josh said

"Shouldn't you be mad at me for not paying attention?"

"No. I don't think I could get mad at you," Josh laughed. I sighed and leaned my head back against the lockers. "Mm, I might," he smirked. Josh moved closer. I tensed. "Are you okay?" I nodded. "You sure?" he asked.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"Why do you seem so.. out of it?"

"I'm not. I just want to go home," I sighed. Josh nodded slowly.

"Can I tell you something?" Josh asked, looking at the floor.

"Yeah," I nodded.

He took a deep breath. "I'm gay."

"I know."

"What?" He looked at me.

"I know you're gay," I shrugged.

"How?"

"I'm not slow!" I sighed. "There's something going on between you and Kevin."

"Well that's the other thing.."

"You and Kevin are gay?" I asked.

"No. Kevin was the coverup. I was gay for someone else ,but now I think I'm falling in love with Kevin. I need your help." Josh sighed.

"Just... follow your heart I guess."

"Kevin isn't gay though."

"He might be." I shrugged. "You never really know."

"He's not gay.." Josh shook his head.

"You don't know that."

"Kevin Skaff is not gay," Josh sighed.

-

"Kevin!" I yelled, running into social studies. Everyone that was there looked at me. I stopped running and lowered my head.

"Yeah?" Kevin asked, walking up to me.

"Uh, I need to talk to you," I whispered, looking around.

"What's wrong?" he asked. I looked at him. "You can tell me anything."

"No, it's not about me," I shook my head. He raised an eyebrow as we sat down.

"What's up?"

"Josh.." I sighed. "Don't tell him I told you this, he's in love with you."

"Oh.." Kevin said, surprised. "I'm just his coverup.."

"No, he's in love with you.." I shook my head. "He doesn't say anything about it because he knows you're not gay."

"Yeah.." Kevin shrugged slightly.

"Are you gay?" I asked. He opened his mouth, then closed it.

Kevin ran a hand through his hair. He let out a sigh. "I don't know."

"It doesn't matter. If you fall in love with a girl, you fall in love with a girl. If you fall in love with a guy, you fall in love with a guy," I said.

Kevin nodded.

-

I walked into science, I searched the room frantically for Jeremy. He must've been running late.

I sat next to Josh, in front of Neil.

Josh glared at me. I raised an eyebrow and looked down at my desk. "I know you told him," Josh growled.

"I.." I sighed.

"Thank you," Josh whispered. I raised an eyebrow. Kevin walked down the isle, Josh leaned out and Kevin walked closer to Josh's side.

They rubbed against each other as he walked by and Josh smiled contently.

"I'm cold," Kevin sighed, sitting down behind Josh. Josh took off his jacket and handed it to him. "Thanks, Josh," Kevin smiled.

"You're welcome," Josh smirked.

Neil poked me. "Jer got ALC," he said.

"What the hell happened?" I asked.

"I dunno. He just texted me. He only got the remainder of the day for dress code violation." Neil shrugged.

"That's dumb. What was he wearing?"

"I dunno," Neil shrugged. "You're his g-"

"Neil, shut up!" I said, putting my hand over his mouth. Neil licked my hand. "Ew!" I moved my hand and Neil smiled.

Science class was long and boring without Jeremy there.

The bell rang and I ran up to the front office to meet up with Jeremy. "Hi," I said, tapping his shoulder. He turned to me.
