"What..?" Jeremy asked. "Really?!" He sat up straight. I nodded quickly and climbed on top of him.

"You're happy... right?" I asked.

"Babe, I wouldn't have agreed to do it unprotected if I didn't want a kid." I smiled softly and hugged him.

"I love you so much," I whispered.

"This is scary," Jeremy admitted.

"Scary how?"

"There's a thing gonna grow inside you and I made it," Jeremy said. I smirked and kissed him.

"Come on." I grabbed his arm and yanked him out of the bed.

"Where?" he asked, confused. "It's like two A.M."

"Dollar General." I dragged him toward the front door. His face showed that he finally understood.

"Wait, wait." He pulled his arm from me. "I have to put on pants." He laughed softly and went to put on jeans.

-

I bit my nails the whole car ride. Jeremy was silent. He finally parked. I turned to him and held out my hand. "Give me your wallet."

"Why?"

"I have to pay." I rolled my eyes. Jeremy shifted in his seat and took off his seatbelt.

"Well.. I can come with you."

"You don't have to."

"I want to." He nodded. I smiled and leaned over to kiss him.

Jeremy held my hand as we walked in. The cashier looked up, showing that she looked dead tired.

I lead Jeremy down the isle where I assumed they would be. We came across condoms and I knew we were in the right place. Jeremy stopped walking and pulled me to him. He pointed and I kissed his cheek before grabbing the box.

"What're they gonna think? The old lady at the register, I mean," I asked, handing him the box.

His grip on my hand tightened. "Who gives a fuck?"

"You're right." I smiled and kissed him. He lead me to the register where the mid-forties woman stood. Jeremy handed her the box and let go of my hand to pull out his wallet.

"Umm.." She looked between us. Jeremy stared at her, credit card in hand. "And how old are you..?" She looked at me.

"Why's it matter?" Jeremy asked, his voice deeper than usual.

"I can't sell this to you-"

"Yes, you can," Jeremy snapped. She stared at him and sighed before scanning the item and putting it in a bag. Jeremy swiped his card and put it back in his wallet.

"Are you the father?" she asked, looking at Jeremy as he signed his name.

"Proudly,"!Jeremy growled as he took the bag in one hand and my hand in the other and lead me out.

I walked closely to him. "I love you."

"I know, I love you too." He kissed my forehead.

-

"Jeremy.." I leaned around the corner to the living room. He looked up. "It's positive." He smiled and jumped up. He ran up to me and pulled me into a hug.

"Oh my god, oh my god!" Jeremy jumped up and down like a four year old on Christmas.

"Jeremy, calm down." I laughed. He let out a soft squeal and hugged me again.
