Neil's POV-

Jeremy got up and grabbed the bat. "Is that necessary?" I asked.

Jeremy shrugged and went downstairs.

He came back up about a minute later. "It was Gavin." He put the bat back and rolled back into the bed with Lendzie and I. "Was he really sick?"

"No." I could practically feel Lendzie roll her eyes.

"How'd he know you weren't at school?"

"Dunno."

"Can I ask, who's Gavin..?" I asked.

"Oh yeah.. that's my mom's other kid," Lendzie sighed.

"She has another kid?"

"Yes," Lendzie sighed, tightening her grip on me.

"Oh."

Jeremy wrapped his arm around my waist. Lendzie grabbed his arm and pulled it up to my side. Jeremy blushed slightly. "Sorry."

Lendzie didn't reply. She put her arm above Jeremy's and put her head into my back. "Neil, ugh, why are you so cuddly?" she asked.

"Uh.." I began, "I dunno."

"Hey, Neil's mine," Jeremy snapped.

"No, he's not!" Lendzie argued.

"I've known him longer," Jeremy stated.

"So?! He loves me more," Lendzie said.

"Neil, who do you love more?!" Jeremy asked.

I shrugged and sunk down in the bed between them.

-

I managed to fall asleep peacefully for once. Jeremy woke me up at about 3:50.

"C'mon." He jabbed me in the shoulder with his finger.

"Ow!" I groaned, pushing his finger away.

"Get up." Jeremy grabbed my arm and pulled it. I sat up and groaned.

"Why?" I sighed.

"I want to go to your house."

"Why would you want to do that?"

"I want to see what it's like."

"It's hell," I snapped as he dragged me out of the bed. We met with Lendzie in the hall.

"Byyyeee!" he purred to Lendzie. She walked up and hugged him. She went to pull away when he kissed her. She smiled after she pulled back and came up to me.

"Don't hurt yourself." She put her arms around my neck.

"I can't with Jeremy around." I put my hands on her waist. Jeremy slid them up to her sides. "Er, sorry."

She backed away from me. I was about to pull my arms back and walk away when she kissed my nose.

My stomach squirmed slightly. I blushed and smiled. I looked up at Jeremy, who had his hands in his pockets and was leaning against the wall.

"Don't blush." She laughed, taking her arms off of my neck. I quickly pulled my arms away.

"Come on," Jeremy said, pointing down the stairs. I went for the stairs when Lendzie grabbed my arm.

"I'm not done with him yet," she said. Jeremy's face went blank. "Neil... I know Jeremy'll be there tonight, but I'm always there for you. Both of us." She glanced at Jeremy. "If you need to talk, just call me."
