The bell finally rang. Everyone jumped up and ran for the door. Neil took forever to get his shit together. Finally, we walked out. The halls were basically empty. Jeremy grabbed Neil as we were walking out and whispered in his ear.

Neil started crying. "What did you say?!" I yelled.

"Tell me!" Jeremy growled.

"I can't!" Neil sobbed.

"Won't!" Jeremy yelled, pushing him into a locker. Neil whimpered.

"Jeremy!" I yelled. Jeremy ignored me.

"What's wrong with you?" he yelled.

"I... can't," Neil sniffed. Jeremy's eyes watered. "Why are you crying?"

"Something's wrong with you!" Jeremy sobbed.

"Why are you crying?" Neil asked again.

"I love you!" Jeremy cried.

"That doesn't answer my question!" Neil sniffed.

"Something's wrong with you and you won't tell me." Jeremy put his head into Neil's chest.

"I'm sorry. I can't. Lendzie already knows and that's too many people." Neil put an arm around Jeremy.

"What..." Jeremy said, more of a statement than a question. "We've been friends longer..."

"It was an accident. I didn't mean to tell her," Neil said.

"What's up kids?" Coach Mac called, walking up. Jeremy looked up, then looked down to hide his face.

"Uhh..." Neil let go of Jeremy and Jeremy backed away slightly.

"Am I interrupting something?" she asked. Neil and Jeremy shook their heads. "Jeremy... have you been crying?"

"No!" he shouted.

"No need to yell."

"I want to go home." He crossed his arms. I hugged him.

"What's going on..?" she asked.

"I don't wanna talk about it.." Neil said before he walked off.

"Neil!" I called, walking after him. He broke into a run, so I did too. I heard Jeremy running after me. Jeremy passed me, so I slowed down.

Neil stopped and turned around. Jeremy didn't have time to think before he pounced on him and took him down.

Jeremy landed on top of Neil. Coach Mac and I walked up and Neil shifted awkwardly underneath Jeremy. Jeremy was straddling him, and Jeremy had his hands on Neil's chest. "Get off of me!"

"Oh, you know you like it," Jeremy snapped.

"Not now Jeremy." Neil sighed. Jeremy shook his head.

"I'm not getting off until you tell me what's wrong with you," Jeremy argued.

"Jeremy, I'll tell you, just get up."

"Whoa there!" Jeremy laughed.

"Fucking bitch," Neil breathed.

"You've gotta be kidding me, Neil." Jeremy smiled.

"Shut the fuck up!"

"Sorry."

"It's not like you can talk, Jeremy," Coach Mac said.

"Holy crap, I didn't know you were there!" Jeremy yelped.

"Neither did I.." Neil blushed.

"What's wrong?" Jeremy asked.
