Hunter woke Y/n up at the crack of dawn to get something to eat then head to Marley's store. Their first day on the job and he was more excited for her than himself, and despite his unusual excitement she was a bit moody about being woken up so early. But due to the morning air and sunlight, she quickly woke up after being outside.

The place Marley bought out was already cleaned and prepped for setting up. It didn't need too much work other than cleaning though, and it really needed it. Gunk was stuck to the walls, ceiling, and floors, and Marley wanted to make small adjustments to better suit him. He's a big guy so needed more space to move around. The cashier counter needed to be moved out but that was about it. The ceilings were pretty tall so that wasn't a problem and he didn't have trouble going through doorways. Not much adjustment is to be done.

A couple of days previously, he and his kids worked on it and got it cleaned up pretty fast but didn't have time to do everything. While his kids go to school, he works.

Y/n and Hunter arrived and looked around the place in awe and Hunter commented as they walked in. "This place looks good as new. You said it needed work."

Marley stood in a corner of the room, kneeling down next to some tools he was to use to clean the walls and ceiling and he smiled at the two's arrival. "Yes, my kids helped me clean it up. It does look new, doesn't it." They walked over and Y/n politely asked if he needed or wanted help but he declined politely as well.  "Oh no, I'm enjoying myself." He waved his hand in denial. "I didn't expect you two to be up so early. Eager to work, or what?"

Y/n shrugged and Hunter grasped her shoulder. "Yep, we could barely sleep." He perked and Y/n turned her head to him with grim irritation.

"Well, then how about you go ahead and start then." He stands up with a bit of a struggle and a grunt. "I actually don't have anything I can trouble you guys with, I would rather work on the cleaning myself, not to sound rude." He explains. "Why don't you two make a potion for the shop?" Marley suggests.

Y/n rubbed her neck curious yet awkwardly. "Us?" She glanced at Hunter and smiled with an idea popping into her head. "Uh, I've never made potions before but... I know Hunter has one of his own." She says and shakes him by the shoulders lightly which makes him slouch anxiously.

"Oh really. Were you part of the potion-making coven?" Marley joked but Hunter just chuckled and shook the topic off.

Hunter awkwardly smiled but explained with a little excitement. "It's a normal healing potion but it's made with all-natural resources and it only requires a small amount so not much is wasted. I've been able to keep a single bottle for months now."

Y/n butts in and holds out her palms for Marley to see. "He's healed a bunch of my wounds with it.

Marley leaned in with his hand pinching his chin to examine the weird skin texture on Y/n's palms. "That's amazing. That could be really helpful for many people. Do you plan of selling it?"

"Oh, I've never thought about it before but... You make a good point." He smiled. "I would just need a lot of ingredients."

An arm went over Hunter's shoulder and shook him a little. "You should. We'll find a way to keep the ingredients coming." Y/n says with her other hand on her hip. "You can name it after you too."

"Well, then we should go out and collect now." He says. "But give me one of your recipes also."

Marley shakes his head. "No, not yet. Go and do yours, for now, I'll fetch my recipe book from home later on." He says, almost desperate to just get them out of there. He's glad to have them around but he's around kids so much; he needs some alone time.
