The kids went home from Gotham City to see if anything happened while they were gone.
When they got to the apartment building, an ambulance was there.
Meg was being wheeled out of the building in a stretcher.
By the building's entrance, Jeremy was comforting a distraught Chad.
"What happened, C n' J?" said Charles Wallace.
"There's been another attack. What a horror" Chad cried.
"Did you see who did it?" said Sam
"No, Sam, we didn't. But it's a good thing we got there on time. There was Meg laying on Chad's floor" said Jeremy.
"I hope it was only a mere fainting spell from fear" said Chad drying his eyes.
"This isn't good. First, those fiends attack Actorville, then the Penguin gets Robin pregnant... now this" said Calvin.
"Did I hear you say the Penguin got Robin pregnant?" said Jeremy.
"Uh-huh" said Calvin.
"Oh, blimey! Can this get any worse?" Chad sobbed.
"Don't worry, Chad. We got the plans. All we need to do is figure out the villains' game now" said Charles Wallace.
"I hope you can. I don't wanna lose another wife" said Chad.
"You won't. We'll be keeping a lookout" said Sam.
The kids then hurried to the hospital to check in on Meg.
She was laying in a hospital bed, but she wasn't attached to wires or anything.
"Any news, Dr Which?" said Calvin.
"Not a blasted thing. We couldn't find a cause anywhere" said Dr Which.
"But it's okay because it seems to only be a case of waiting for her to wake up" said Dr Whatsit.
"Good. But we still need to make a plan. It may not be long before we're all in the same condition" said Sam.
"Planning is essential. Churchill, British" said Dr Who.
The kids went back to Chad's to tell him the news.
"The Misses said that Meg might be good" said Charles Wallace.
"I'm glad. Blimey, I hope things turn out okay" said Chad.
"Yeah, so do we" said Sam.
Chad then received three knocks on his door.
"Chad?" said Jeremy's voice.
Chad opened the door and said "Hello, Jeremy".
"We just had a major crime in the building and you opened this door without asking who it was?" said Jeremy.
Not believing Jeremy had really said that, Chad just said "It won't happen again. What's the matter?"
"Can I stay here until Meg gets back? I don't think I'd like to be alone in all this chaos" said Jeremy.
"Oh, of course you can" said Chad sympathetically.
The kids now had more to figure out.
