"This it, huh?" Y/n mumbled to himself as the light of his laptop illuminated his face, "If I do this... then they'll be gone. Forever..."
Y/n had gathered everyone in the house in the living room. It was still a bit night out as Y/n stood in front of everyone with a semi-serious look on his face. However, in Y/n's eyes they held a bit of sadness. This in itself put everyone on edge.
"Y/n," Erwin spoke up after the last person sat down on the large couch, "you called for us?"
Y/n glanced to the side, his glasses that he wore for technology was on his shirt collar as he held his laptop in his arm, "Yes. I've gathered you all here, because I have an announcement for all of you."
The people in front of Y/n glanced at each other in worry before looking back at Y/n, "What is it, Y/n?" Zeke asked.
"Well," Y/n started as he faced the screen to the rest of the group, "after almost about of year of researching, I've finally found a way to send you all to your world."
Everyone's eyes slightly widened. Some gathered around the laptop screen as it told them how Y/n could send them back to their world without harm. However, they furrowed their brows at certain parts.
Y/n looked down as he didn't want to look at the group, "I am able to send you back to your world whenever you like. However, if I do that, you will never be able to come back to this world, and you will have your memories of this world erased."
"Erased...?" Mikasa breathed out.
"You will have no memory of M/n, you will have no memory of F/n, you will have no memory that you were even alive in this world," Y/n cleared, "and... you will have no memory of me. The process is simple, and I am willing to do it for those who want to leave. I will not object."
"Y/n..." Hange whispered as they and the rest of the group looked at Y/n in slight shock.
Y/n gave the group a pained smile as tears pricked his eyes, "Don't let my feelings hold you back from going back to your world. I don't know who your world is, but I know for a fact that you still have family somewhere in there and duties to carry on. You choose your own decisions, I will not say anything to stop you all."
Y/n closed his laptop as he lowered his head, "But thank you all for being by my side all this time. If you choose to stay, I will try to provide for you, if you choose to leave, I will not argue. Just... do whatever makes you happy, everyone."
