"Y/n? You should be in bed," A calm voice spoke up.
Y/n let out a small sigh in defeat as he was trying to do some extra paperwork in his office. He couldn't help himself, he wanted to do work so that he could get his mind off of what had happened between him and Railey and Zaxton.
Annie, the one who caught Y/n working, put a hand on his shoulder, "Come on, you need your rest, especially after what had happened. Besides, you have work to go to tomorrow, today should be a day you rest."
"Alright, alright you caught me," Y/n sighed as he stood up, "I'll go bed." He suddenly let out a hiss in pain as he held on his lower back, where the bruise was forming.
Annie, for some reason she did not know, was quick to Y/n's side. She held a slightly concerned look on her face as Y/n held onto her arm for slight support.
Y/n couldn't help but chuckle in embarrassment, "Ah, I'm sorry Annie. I don't mean to cause you this much trouble."
Annie was quick to shake her head, "It's not a problem. You take care of all of us, even when you're still injured. Helping you out every once in a while, is the least I could do for you."
"Yeah, thank you," Y/n said as he looked away with a small frown.
Annie slightly furrowed her brows as she helped Y/n get back to his room. She couldn't help but feel like she said something wrong to Y/n. She knew that she wasn't one to converse with other people, so she thought she might've said something that made Y/n upset.
"Huh? Annie, Y/n, what are you doing here?" Reiner spoke up, seeing Y/n and Annie in the hallway, "And Y/n shouldn't you be in your room?"
"This workaholic decided to sneak into his office earlier," Annie stated blankly as Y/n slumped a bit in defeat.
"Ah, Y/n we told you to rest today!" Bertholdt panicked slightly as he went to Y/n's other side.
"I know, I know..." Y/n mumbled, "I just want to get my mind off of the situation..."
The trio looked at each other in slight worry. They knew that Y/n liked to work away until no end. If they hadn't caught Y/n in his office, who knows how long he would be in there because of what had happened.
Reiner furrowed his brows at Y/n, "And 'getting your mind off of the situation' means you work all day and night yourself to the bone?"
Y/n chuckled as Bertholdt was the one helping him to his room instead of Annie, "When you say it like that, it sounds like a bad thing to do."
