Y/n stared as he blinked out of shock. His mouth was slightly agape as he tried his best to form words, but none were coming to mind at the moment. The wind picked up, messing with his (h/c) hair as he continued to stare at the person in front of him in disbelief.
"C-Connie?" Y/n questioned out after a second of silence, "Wha... What are you talking about?"
Connie had furrowed brows as a large red blush covered his cheek. He couldn't help it. He felt embarrassed based on Y/n's reaction, but his heart was pounding too loudly for him to even think correctly.
"Y-Y/n, I love you!" Connie claimed, boldly and, seemingly, filled with confidence, "I know that it might seem strange, but I love you very much! I-I can't help it... Y/n, I love you too much for words to describe it!"
Y/n slightly perked up as pink dusted his cheeks, "Connie...?"
Connie sealed his eyes shut as he clutched his hands together, "You don't have to say anything, I swear! But all this time, these past few years, I can't help but love you. You are always so kind to me, you helped me through so much, and everything you do makes me love you more and more... I-I'm sorry, Y/n, but I really can't help it..."
Y/n stared at Connie for a second longer after hearing Connie rant to him. The surprised look then turned into a soft smile. He stepped closer to Connie making the other flinch slightly. Carefully, Y/n took Connie's hands into his own. Finally, Connie looked up, small tears in the corner of his eyes.
"Connie..." Y/n breathed out a laugh as he carefully wiped Connie's tears away, "You're so unbelievable sometimes..."
"Y/n...?" Connie questioned in a small voice, scared for what is about to happen.
Y/n let out a chuckle as he gave a small peck to Connie's forehead, "Shouting that you love me so much, I swear, the whole world can hear you, but I'm glad. I too want the whole world to know how much I love you too. Please don't cry. You have me by your side from now on, I promise on that, my Connie."
Connie's eyes widened as he look straight into Y/n's (e/c) eyes, "Yours...?"
Y/n closed his eyes as he smiled, "Forever."
Connie let out a small gasp as his eyes widened and shined in joy. He let the biggest smile take over his face as he let out a small laugh. Soon the small laugh turned into a joyous one. He wrapped his arms around Y/n's neck as he laughed and smile. Y/n laughed along with Connie.
Never, in his whole life, did Connie think that he would be able to have a lover. He honestly thought that he would be single forever, and that Y/n would reject him. However, he had thought wrong. Y/n loves him, just as much as he loves Y/n, and he couldn't be more happier than now.
"I love you!!" Connie cheered as Y/n spun him around in his arms, "I love you, I love you, I love you! Y/n, I love you so much!!"
Y/n laughed in bliss as he held Connie close to him by his waist, "I love you too, Connie. I have always loved you!"
Blushing red once again, Connie smiled at his new lover. Without a second thought, he cupped Y/n's face and kissed him on the lips. Taken by surprised, Y/n's eyes slightly widened, but then he soon relaxed.
Y/n laughed in the kiss slightly as he brought Connie back to the ground. He continued kissing Connie as he couldn't help but smile. Connie, realizing what had happened, pulled away with a completely red face that can rival against a tomato. Y/n raised a brow with a small fake pout.
"Too soon...?" Connie asked as he looked at Y/n, nervously.
Y/n smiled as he pulled Connie closer to him once again, "Never," He said as he kissed Connie once again.
This time, Connie didn't pull away. Instead, he laughed in the kiss. He loved this. Connie may seem a bit like an airhead, but even this 'airhead' can find love, and he wouldn't have it any other way. Especially, if it was with Y/n.
