"We're back home!!" Sasha cheered as he put her hands up in the air with relief and happiness.
"OI!! STOP STANDING THERE LIKE AN IDIOT AND HELP US!!!" Connie shouted at Sasha as he and Jean were haling over multiple suitcases.
"SHUT UP AND LET ME ENJOY BEING AT HOME FOR ONCE!!"
"YOU SHUT UP AND HELP US!!"
Y/n couldn't help but chuckle at the chaotic-ness the duo had. He should be used to the chaos, but he just can't help but laugh whenever they both stirred up a scene. It has been way livelier in Y/n's house, and honestly, he was a-okay with it.
"You two better stop fighting so that you both can help," Levi scowled at the youngers making them flinch.
"Y-YES SIR!!" Connie and Sasha shouted as they both glared at each other before going up to Y/n to help.
"Here," Y/n said gently, as he passed suitcases to the duo, "Take these upstairs to your rooms. I'll make sure to call you if I need any more help, alright?"
Unlike Levi, Y/n was surprisingly calm and soft, this made Connie and Sasha blush and smile at him, "Yes sir!" They both said more excitedly as they quickly grabbed the suitcases and made it a race to go upstairs.
Y/n laughed a bit as he shook his head. Sometimes the others can be like children or just like him, it was funny and scary at the same time. A hand placed onto Y/n's shoulder, making him look up in questioning.
Y/n smiled, "Ah, Erwin, is there something you need?"
"Where does the extra food go?" Erwin asked holding up a few containers filled with leftovers.
"We have leftovers? I could've sworn that Sasha and the others eaten them all."
Erwin could only shrug, "I thought so too, but we have... about 3 or 5 leftovers."
"Oh, well, you can just put them in the fridge," Y/n said as he gave another suitcase to Jean, "You remember where it is, right?"
Erwin nodded obediently and walked off with the containers in hand. Y/n began to sort out all the dirty clothes into a plastic bag so that he could wash it later. However, he paused when someone called his name.
"Huh? Oh, Armin, how are you feeling?" Y/n asked as he had to look up at the blonde since he was on the ground, "Do you still need medicine or anything else?"
"A-Ah, no I'm okay Y/n!" Armin stuttered slightly with a blushed.
Y/n sighed a bit in relief, "That's good. Oh! Can you take your suitcase to your room?"
Armin began to fidget with his fingers, "A-actually, I came here to tell you something."
Y/n raised a brow and stood up, "Of course, you can tell me anything. Is there something wrong?" He asked carefully.
"Um," Armin started, blushing as he looked down, "I-I just wanted to say thank you, Y/n."
"Thank you?" Y/n said in slight shock and questioning, "Why?"
"Thank you for taking care of us, of me. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you. Thank you for putting a roof over our heads and giving us all the food we need. Thank you for your hard work for... well, everything! There's so many things to thank you for that I forget them all.
"So, in general, thank you for always being there for everyone. And thank you so much for always being there for me too. Words... Words really can't express how happy I am to have you, Y/n."
Y/n blinked in shock of what Armin said to him. Sure, the others have thanked him before, but no one, not even at work or in his family, thanked Y/n with so much emotion as Armin did just now. Armin even had small tears pricking his eyes to show that he was really genuine.
"Oh Armin," Y/n whispered out as he put a gentle hand on the Armin's shoulder, "You and all the others, don't need to be thankful, truly. I enjoy caring for you all, I enjoy being around you all. I am doing what most people would've done in the first place.
"But I do have to thank you, Armin."
"Huh?" Armin muttered in surprise as he looked up. His eyes slightly widened as he noticed that Y/n was about to cry too.
Y/n smiled warmly at Armin, "I never... I never had an emotion filled 'thank you' from anyone before. So, thank you, for that. You truly are going to go places, Armin."
"Y/n..." Armin sniffed as he quickly engulfed the taller into a hug, making him stumble a bit.
Y/n could only chuckle as he pets Armin's hair in a gentle and caring manner. He let Armin cry a bit into his chest as he said words of comfort. After a bit, Armin sniffed once again and pulled away. He blushed pink as he just realized what he had done.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have cried like that," Armin said, wiping his nose.
"It's alright to cry Armin," Y/n comforted as he patted Armin's head one last time, "Now, how about you help me get these suitcases and bags to the laundry and bedrooms, yeah?"
Armin sniffed one last time before smiling and nodding, "Yes!"
Y/n chuckled as he picked up some bags and started to go up the stairs with Armin, as he carried some suitcases too. The two gradually went into conversations, laughing and chuckling a bit with each other. The two were smiling all day.
Little did Y/n and Armin know, a few pair of eyes were watching them with a hint of jealously. Why were they feeling like this? They didn't even know.
