CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN....
JEREMY'S POV
I squinted my eyes as the morning daylight filled the room. I looked down seeing Tazeema wrapped around my body snoring lightly. She lasted ten minutes alone in her room before sneaking into mine last night.
"Good morning" She said groggily staring up at me from my chest
"Morning my love" I said leaning close to her and attempting to kiss her
"Stop, morning breath" She said dodging my kiss while covering her mouth
"Bring that nastiness back here young lady " I said and she hit my chest playfully while I winced feigning pain. She leaned up toward me then quickly pecked my lips. She sat up on the bed staring at the clock on the wall.
" I better head back to my room, my dad will be up soon" She said stretching her body out
"So you are still afraid, Ms. papa I'm twenty eight years old" I said mimicking her and she turned to me scowling
"I'm just a very respectful child" She said blinking her eyes dramatically
"What does that mean" I said hiding my amusement and she got out of bed causing my jaw to drop at her outfit. It was dark when she snuck into my room last night, so I didn't notice her red baby doll night wear.
"What" she said standing at the edge of my bed staring at me innocently like she didn't know what she was doing.
"Baby I wanna respect your dad, but if you don't want me to take you right now, you better get going" I said gesturing for the door
"But I want you to take me right now" She said biting her lip and it drove me insane; so much so I jumped out of bed and lunged at her
"I'm Kidding , I'm kidding" She yelled running as I caught up with her easily; she laughed uncontrollably as I wrapped my arms around her waist lifting her up while she tried to wiggle free
"You better stop playing yourself and head on back to your room" I said as she continued laughing. I set her on her feet and she bolted out of my room but not before I smacked her butt.
Mr. Naidoo and I left the house around 12pm for the golf course. We sat in the car silently with music playing in the background.
"Golf pro huh" He said finally spoke
"It was my fathers favorite sport" I said smiling; memories of my father teaching me at a young age flashing through my mind.
"Was" He said
"Yes sir, he passed away some years ago" I stated
"May his soul rest in peace" He muttered and I nodded
We drove in a comfortable silence the rest of the way. Once we arrived Mr. Naidoo introduced me to four of his friends joining us.
"Ahh Gugu and these American boys" One of the men said and I chuckled
"I'm actually half Nigerian" I said shocking the men including Mr. Naidoo
"Is that so" Mr. Naidoo said and I nodded
"Yes sir, my mom is Nigerian" I said swinging the golf club I was given to sample it.
Mr. Naidoo smiled looking at his friends. They remained quiet and we proceeded to the course
"Do me a favor and shut them up with your golfing skills, I told them you are a beginner" Mr. Naidoo said laughing
"With pleasure sir" I said and he pat my shoulder then jogged up to join his friends.
