CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN....

"Where is my little bride and ring bearer" The wedding planner said ushering the wedding party in a line to walk into the church. We arrived at the venue a little late and the ceremony needed to start as soon as we arrived.  The door flew open slightly and it was Guyenne holding the twins. They had left the house for the church a little earlier than everyone else with Kravitz grandparents. They both smiled heavily when ours eyes met. They wanted to run to me but the wedding planner grabbed a hold of them putting them in line. I blew them a kiss reassuring them because I knew Jeremiah was about to act out. He quickly smiled and straightened as China caught my imaginary kiss. My babies both looked amazing.

The door flew open again and church hymns immediately filled the whole room. China and Jeremiah were first in line to walk in and they did great. China carefully threw her flowers in as Jeremiah did his overly practiced Model walk by her side. Butterflies circled in my stomach  when I saw Jeremy standup in his seat  and taking pictures of them with his phone. China saw him and waved at him as Jeremiah screamed "Daddy" causing the congregation to laugh. The three bridesmaid walked in and I was next. I stood nervously awaiting my que to go and knowing Jeremy would be watching had my stomach in knots. The wedding planner gestured for me to go in and I nodded,  slowly two stepping in and trying my best not to fall. As practiced I smiled and maintained eye contact with the congregation at the church as I made my way to the end of the aisle. As I was walking in,  my eyes landed on Jeremy and to my greatest surprise, Jeremiah was sitting by his side playing on Jeremys phone while China was curled up on her fathers lap watching me and smiling. The knots in my stomach settled at the sight. I continued to the end of the aisle taking my spot.

Once again the doors flew open and everyone in the church stood as Kravitz made her way in clinging to her fathers arm. She smiled gracefully as her father whispered into her ear.  Tears were very evident in Chace's eyes as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. Once Kravitz reached the church altar, she ran to Chace and hugged him then kissing his cheek.

Their vows were beautiful, the couple dove into each others arms after the reverend announced to "kiss the bride". The congregation laughed and cheered them on. My eyes scanned the room landing on Jeremy who was watching me intently. He smiled and then winked before looking down at his arms. My eyes followed his gaze to China who lay asleep in his arms and then to Jeremiah who was still focused on his fathers phone.

After the ceremony we all walked outside the building for pictures. I looked around the crowd searching for the kids and  smiled when I spotted them walking towards me

"Mama" Jeremiah screamed marching towards me with Jeremy close behind him carrying China who lay fast asleep in his arms with her head on his shoulders. Jeremiah hugged my waist when he got to me. I reached an arm over him holding him tight to me. Jeremy stood beside me smiling at me while I massaged Chinas hair with my free hand causing her to squirm a little.

"Mama, daddy said you look smoking hot" Jeremiah said still holding my waist and smiling up at me. I quickly turned to Jeremy smirking and he shook his head.

"Jeremiah I said I would tell her" Jeremy said causing me to shake my head

" You were taking too long daddy" Jeremiah retorted nonchalantly while attempting to type a  code into Jeremy's phone.

"We literally just got here" Jeremy said and Jeremiah shrugged. I laughed and Jeremy turned to me squinting his eyes at first but then grinning after.

"Ok we got to go before the limo leaves without us" I said and Jeremy swatted my hand as I attempted to reach over to carry China.

"I'll take you guys" He said protectively resting his hand on the back of China's head.

"We cant, the booster chair is already set up in the limo" I lied trying to get away from the awkward situation at hand.
