TWENTY....
The following day arrived quickly. I walked into the doctors Office Depressed but consoled by the fact that I will hear my baby's heartbeat today.
"How are you Ms. Naidoo" The doctor said as I made myself comfortable on the exam table
"Good, just hungry" I replied smiling faintly and she laughed
"Any concerns" She said pulling the ultrasound machine closer to the exam table.
"No ma'am" I said staring at the blank screen ready to hear my baby
"This will feel a little cool" She said placing the ultrasound probe on the lower part of my belly. A few moments later I heard the sound. Tears filled my eyes as I stared at the screen smiling. I took a quick glance at the doctor and noticed her furrowed brows. She applied a little more pressure to the probe on my belly and then out of no where she threw her head back in laughter.
"There's two of them" She said pointing at the screen. My eyes widened at her statement
"Twins, well I'll be damned " I whispered then broke into a fit of laughter and she joined in.
I left the office and immediately called Kravitz informing her of my surprisingly good news. On that phone call I also informed her of my final decision regarding my situation with Jeremy and my babies. Kravitz was super supportive but also saddened by my decision. My decision was long overdue. With every thing that had transpired over past few months, A change of scenery was definitely needed.
It was time to go home.

JEREMY'S POV
I looked up at the clock in my office, it was 1:15am. I had officially become engrossed in work for 26 hours . Sleep seemed foreign to me these past few days. I had done a lot of thinking since Tazeema informed me of her pregnancy. The love I have for Tazeema transcends the history I have with Lily. In the short period I had known Taz, I can not imagine my life without her. It scares me to even have that thought. She is the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with and I must do good by her. I no longer cared about the consequences, I choose happiness and without Tazeema that is impossible. I packed up my belongings and rushed out of my office. I made up my mind and I had to tell Lily the truth. I stood tapping my foot on the floor impatiently waiting for the elevator to get to my level. Just as it pinged and opened up, I heard my name from a distance. It was Travis running towards me.
"Damn it" I said turning back to the elevator seeing that the doors had closed and it had descended.
"Where is your pager, We've been trying to reach you" He said pressing the elevator button a couple of times and I watched smirking.
"Are you gonna tell me why your panties are in a bunch" I said and he turned to me and stared like I was growing a second head.
"You haven't heard? Senator Ludwig has been shot. It's bad Travis. Multiple gun shot wounds, they need your consult on a possible facial reconstruction and I of course will handle to Ortho part of things. Man they are pulling in the best of the best. We are gonna be so famous after this" He said grinning. Classic Travis, a man was battling for his life and all he cared about was the press associated with the case.
"Shit, How far out are they? where is Sherell? why is this news to me" I asked frantically pressing the elevator button
"They are 10 mins out" He replied; The elevator pinged with doors opening and we both scurried into the elevator.
