Lost & Found.

Chapter 2

TWO.....

I knocked on the door to China's office and opened it when I didn't get a reply.

"RISKY" I sang as I danced into the office. She was on the phone and she shushed me Immediately causing me to chuckle. I sat on the couch and waited till she was done.

"Hey biscuit no work today?" she said as she stood up to hug me a bit to tightly.

"I-I cant breath China" I said honestly and she let me go.

"Sorry baby, I really needed that hug" She said and I looked at her and I could tell something was wrong. She had tears in her eyes that weren"t falling and her hands were shaking.

"What"s wrong China" I asked anxiously.

"Joey and I are getting a divorce" She replied and the tears in her eyes finally fell. Joey and China had been together for years even before she met me. He owned the strip club China and I worked at when I first moved here. They were inseparable; so I was beyond shocked to hear the news of their divorce.

'What happened?" I asked alarmingly, she sat on the couch next to me"
I didnt know you guys were having problems?" I said honestly.

"You and me both. I mean we had minor disagreements but a divorce? I really didn't see that coming. He started acting weird once he came back from his trip to Italy to visit his parents. I havent seen or spoken to him in days and then I came here this evening to see divorce papers with his signature and a note that said pls just sign it, I'm just so confused " she said leaning back into the couch and staring at the ceiling.
"I cant believe that asshole" I said hugging her

"Yea me too. Twenty five years down the drain, But enough of this pity party. If Joey Parker cant come to me with a problem as big as this himself, then this divorce is probably the best thing for us. I need a drink right about now" she said as she grabbed the mirror on the table and kleenex to fix her running eyeliner

'"Same, you look hot China, I will be borrowing that dress" I said as she twirled in delight and thanked me. I mean she really did. she had on a red bandage dress, some nude sandal heels, her signature brunette locks parted down the middle.

We took a couple of shots. The DJ changed the song and I pretended to know it just so I could drag China to the dance floor.

"Thats my jam" I screamed as I took China's hand and dragged her to the dance floor

"You say that for every song" China said and I rolled my eyes and started dancing. After a few songs China left to go finish some paperwork upstairs. I continued dancing but then I got thirsty so I made my way to the bar.

" Hey kale, a shot of Casa amigos please" I screamed over the loud music as I continued to sway my hips to the song.

"Coming right up ms Tazeema " Kale replied and winked at me.

Some minutes later I was on my second drink when I felt someone's hands around my waist.

"Dance with me please" The person whispered seductively in my ear. It was as if everything moved in slow motion once I turned. The most handsome man I'd seen stood before me with a smile that had me weak. He had piercing green eyes with brown specs so bright I could still see it in the clubs dim lights, his slim nose  ran down to meet his full pink lips, then  his body, I could tell underneath his black button up shirt hid a toned body. He had this amazing caramel skin tone that glowed in the dark. It wasn't until he lifted his arm and ran his hand through his curly locks that I snapped back into reality. I couldnt even get words to come out of my mouth so I just nodded at him. He took the empty shot glass in my hand putting it on the bar counter and then he lead me to the dance floor with his hand firmly on the small of my back.  At first we were dancing face to face but I turned my back to him and I put one of my hands on the back of his neck and I started whine my waist slowly on him. I smiled inwardly as I felt him stiffen. Still facing my back towards him I slide down and came back up eliciting a groan of approval from him.
