Jeremy walked in smiling but instantly frowned once he entered the elevator and saw me. I pushed back into the corner wishing it would swallow me. Travis pulled me close to him with his hand on my waist. Jeremy continued his conversation with Travis comfortably as if I wasn't standing there. He had a lot more facial hair and was sporting a lower hair cut. Jeremy looked grown and sexy

"Right baby girl" Travis said bringing me back to planet earth

"Right baby girl" Travis said bringing me back to planet earth

"Huh" I said looking straight at Jeremy who matched my gaze eye to eye

"I was telling Jeremy that you are definitely happy to have him back" I swallowed hard and stared at Travis wide eyed and confused

"You know, you can finally be off of Dr. Cryer's service" He continued, lowering my heart rate instantly. I opened my mouth to reply but was cut off by Jeremy

"I actually think I'm gonna be on my own for a while, I kind of got used to it in London" He said

I stared down at my crocs wondering why the hell this elevator was taking so long. I could feel Jeremys gaze on me but I couldn't bear to look at him.

Ping

Took you long enough. The elevator doors glided open and I leaped out first breathing out heavily.

"Gotta run Trav, lets do lunch today, catch me up on what I missed while I was in London" Jeremy said slowly backing away from Travis and I.

"Actually I already have lunch plans with this beautiful lady " I stilled sporting a forced smile

"Ahh some other time then, Hit me up later" Jeremy said turning on heel and walking away without even sparing me a glance

My stomach rumbled.

"Gotta go baby girl" Travis said planting kiss on my forehead and zooming off

I immediately ran to the nearest bathroom. I put my bag on the counter and with both hands on the side of the sink I stared at my reflection in the mirror. Pathetic Tazeema, get over yourself I thought. I turned the tap on and rinsed my face. I was in the process of patting my face dry with paper towel when Sherell walked in.

"Oh honey, you look flushed. You alright" She asked

"I'm ok, just a little...... " Bile rose to my throat and I immediately ran into one of the bathroom stalls and emptied the contents of my stomach

"I guess I got my answer, you're definitely not ok. Go home and rest, I'll find someone to cover your shift" Sheryl said as rinsed my mouth in the sink.

"I'm fine, I just think its the breakfast not agreeing with my stomach"

"I wasn't asking, take your little behind home and get some rest, Probably all them shifts you been racking up back to back" She said smirking. She wasn't lying though, I had picked up a ton of extra shifts these past few months. I needed to keep busy and focus on something other than Jeremy. I had also noticed most of my clothes were ill fitting. Last time I checked I lost 12 pounds.
