"Okay" Finn said, "but you tell me if you want me to stop at anytime." Lexi smiled and nodded. Finn then moved so that he was on top of Lexi, encouraging her to lie down from her seated position. Lexi was now lying flat against her bed, Finn hovering above her. Finn then moved his hand against his chosen side of Lexi's neck. He moved some of her hair out of the way and adjusted her neck appropriately.

This action caused his cool fingers to brush against Lexi's neck, sending shivers down her spine, creating a sense of anticipation from Lexi. If this was going to be anything like her experience with Klaus or Kol, she was looking forward to it. Finn lowered his head, his warm breath shuddering against Lexi's neck, increasing her desire. He then began to pepper soft kisses around her neck.

After a moment, he pulled back. He looked into Lexi eyes, searching for any regret, reluctance or fear. Lexi also searched his eyes, she could see he was lacking the nervousness he was previously demonstrating. She also saw a sense of desire and want. He wanted to activate the bond. Lexi then nodded, giving him permission to continue.

Finn then placed a few more kisses before gently allowing his fangs to penetrate her delicate skin. Any hesitant feelings Finn was having disappeared when he tasted his mate's blood. The sweet taste provided him with a euphoric feeling which ran throughout his body. His inner animal elated, causing him to grip his mate tighter and to drink more of her blood. Finn retracted his fangs after a moment. He didn't drink for as long as Klaus or Kol but the act still felt just as intimate to Lexi.

"See" Lexi said, "I'm fine, you didn't hurt me." She then used her thumb to wipe some of the extra blood from his lips. Finn pulled her finger into his mouth, running his lips over the excess blood. The way his veins moved fascinated Lexi.

Finn then bit into the palm of his hand and held it out to Lexi. She wrapped her lips around his hand and began to drink his blood. The sensation of his warm, rich blood running down her throat satisfied her in ways she could not explain. Finn's inner animal was in ecstasy over seeing and feeling his mate drink his blood. When Lexi stopped drinking, the pair stared at each other out of amazement. The familiar burning sensation then found itself on Lexi's left forearm (the same side as Kol and Klaus' marks).

Just below the crook of her elbow, there was a small anchor tattoo which was Finn's soul mark. Finn's eyes lit up in admiration, loving the feeling of connectedness he now had with his mate. He lightly ran his fingers over the mark. The sensation gave Lexi goose bumps as she admired the appearance of her new mark.

"What does it mean?" Finn asked.

"The anchor?" Lexi clarified. Finn nodded finally lifting his eyes from the mark to meet hers. "It symbolises hope, stability and connectedness". Lexi paused, "All qualities which you clearly demonstrate" she said in a teasing tone. Finn smiled at his mate. He was so lucky to have her, he thought to himself.

Finn rolled off of her and made himself comfortable before gently pulling her to lay on his chest. Lexi rested her head and rested her newly marked arm on his chest . She then began to draw different shapes and formations on his chest as they fell into a comfortable stream of conversation. When Finn had pulled her onto his chest, her shirt had ridden up slightly. He noticed this after a moment and began to softly run his fingers up and down the now bare skin of her back.

"So this is where you ran off to, Brother?" Klaus said accusingly. It was his second time walking in on one of his brothers in bed with his mate and it was beginning to piss him off.

"Niklaus, please" Elijah said as Lexi and Finn moved apart from each other.

"Have you guys come to an agreement?" Lexi said.

"I believe so, come downstairs and we can explain" Elijah said.

-------------------------------------------------------

"So I am going out with Rebekah tomorrow, then Finn, then Elijah, Kol and then Klaus" Lexi clarified.

"Pretty much" Kol said. Lexi took a deep breath.

This week is going to be pure and utterly chaotic.

"Okay" Lexi said, "Did you guys end up coming to an agreement about my sleeping arrangements or whatever?"

"Something like that" Klaus said.

--------------------------------------------------------

"Hey, how are you? Sorry I haven't been calling, something came up." Lexi said into her phone.

"Hey, it's all good. I'm doing a lot better now actually." Bonnie said.

"I'll believe it when I see you. I promise I'll come over as soon as I'm back in town" Lexi lied. The last thing she needed right now was for the scooby gang to figure out she had been staying with the Mikaelsons so she cloaked herself and told them she was going to be out of town.

"It's okay" Bonnie half lied. Bonnie had actually been missing her friend significantly, but was also happy that Lexi was taking time to herself.

"Have you spoken to any of them yet?" Lexi asked. She knew that Bonnie was isolating herself after Abby left but she hoped that Bonnie had reached out to some of her other friends so that she could talk to someone in person whilst Lexi was gone.

"Yeah, I was with Caroline this morning. She was telling me about all this Ric drama that has happened." Bonnie said.

"Ric drama?" Lexi questioned. When she had spoken to her uncle it was only over text and the conversations were mainly brief so she hadn't heard about any of his 'drama'.

"Yeah, some new revelations around his vampire hunting alter ego. Caroline said that they needed the Originals to help them." Bonnie said. That must be where Klaus, Kol, Rebekah and Finn went off to after their conversation earlier. Currently it was just her and Elijah at the residence.

"Weird" Lexi mumbled. Surely Damon or Ric would have told her if their was something serious going on, right? Her thoughts were interrupted when out of the corner of her eye she saw Elijah standing in the doorway of the balcony she was currently sitting on. Yes, they have multiple balconies. "Hey, Bonnie" Lexi said.

"Yeah"

"Can I call you tomorrow? Something just came up."

"Uh yeah of course. We can talk tomorrow morning."

"Great I'll talk to you then, bye."

"Bye Lexi"

"Are you just going to stand there watching me creepily or are you going to say something?" Lexi said as she hung up her phone call with Bonnie, turning around to face Elijah.

"The thought had crossed my mind" Elijah said not moving from his position.

"Come here" Lexi said, patting the spot next to her on the lounge.

"I believe Niklaus is the dog of the family, Elskan" Elijah said smiling as Lexi chuckled at his words, "Come inside, there is something I wish to show you."
