The Perfect Day... Still?

"Bonnie?"

Lexi wasn't entirely sure how to react to seeing Bonnie. She hadn't seen Bonnie in person since the decade dance and they had stopped calling around the same time she completed the bond with Elijah. 

"I'm sorry I couldn't come sooner." Bonnie said, nervousness clear in her tone, "It's just I've been so distracted with Elena and the cure and Jeremy and-" 

"Hey, you don't need to explain. I haven't exactly been any better myself." Lexi said as she slid her hand from Finn's and moved towards Bonnie as she looked on the verge on tears for some unknown reason. Once Lexi reached Bonnie, she placed a hand on her shoulder before turning back to Finn, Klaus and Kol. "Leave" Lexi said strongly to the brothers before preventing them from objecting with a silencing spell. 

"You know they can still hear us." Bonnie mumbled into Lexi's shoulder after Lexi had pulled her into a tight hug.

"Eh" Lexi shrugged, having adjusted to her new lifestyle which lacked privacy. "What are you not telling me?" Lexi asked, as she slid out of their hug enough to see Bonnie's face.

"Why do you think there is something I'm not telling you?" Bonnie questioned.

She has to be kidding.

"Bonnie, sweetie. I know you better than you know yourself, now tell me what has got my favourite girl-" Lexi started before correcting herself. "who I haven't slept with so upset." She demanded, knowing Bonnie couldn't keep up the act for long.

"I just missed my best friend" Bonnie obviously lied.

"Don't lie." Lexi said, narrowing her eyes in an attempt to decipher what had her so upset. 

"Jeremy he uh- he uh um-" Bonnie said as she began to stutter over her words. Noticing the absence of the word 'we' which we typically accompanied the 'we broke up' speech Lexi quickly pieced together no humanity Elena, heartbroken Bonnie and a problem with Jeremy, concluding Jeremy had... joined his parents...

"Oh my God" Lexi muttered as she re-entered her hug with Bonnie. "Bonnie-" Lexi started, trying to figure out a way to comfort her.

"It's fine, honestly, I have had a few weeks to learn how to deal with it." Bonnie said as she some how managed to stop herself from crying. 

"Want to come inside?" Lexi said, pulling out of their hug. 

"Depends on my chances of becoming a murder victim." Bonnie said, referring to the five overprotective Mikaelsons who were currently watching them from different windows.

"Come on" Lexi teased, moving towards the door.

"Why are none of you trying to trick her into leaving?" Lexi asks skeptically as she turns to face the brothers. The siblings, Lexi and Bonnie have actually been having a some what peaceful conversation (minus Rebekah's sly comments and insults). Currently, Bonnie had just gotten up to use the bathroom and Lexi was rather skeptical of how peaceful their interaction had gone.

"I am" Rebekah declared proudly.

"That's why I was asking them." Lexi said.

"We know that she is important to you and understand that that means we should respect her." Klaus said all too convincingly.

"You don't use that attitude with the Salvatores" Lexi said, calling them out on their lie. The brothers then became noticeably awkward as they yet again communicated to through their eye communication.

"Well, Love." Klaus said, not meeting her eyes. "As males, our inner animals view the Salvatores as threats to you as they are also male."

"Hence why Rebekah is threatened by Bonnie" Klaus said, gesturing to the blonde who was currently clinging to Lexi's side. 

"Rebekah also acts like this with the Salvatore's though." Lexi said.

"That just her personality." Kol chimed in, his smug smile being wiped off his face as the pillow Rebekah had just thrown made contact with his jaw.

"I should probably get going." Bonnie said as the credits began to show on the movie they had just finished. After Bonnie came back from the bathroom, Lexi offered to watch a movie with Bonnie. Rebekah was quick to suggest that it should girl's only activity...

Kol likes to think he is one of the girls.

Rebekah then made sure there was a small wall of pillows between Lexi and Bonnie before sitting on the other side of Lexi. Kol took his seat on the ground in front of Lexi. For a majority of the movie, Lexi was playing with Kol's hair and creating small plaits in random sections.

Kol loves the feeling of Lexi's hands in his hair... at anytime... especially during-

"Yeah, you should" Rebekah said, her inner animal satisfied that Bonnie would no longer be in her mate's presence. When Lexi got up to walk Bonnie out, Rebekah stilled her movements, claiming that Elijah was the gentleman and could do it for her. Bonnie shot Lexi and understanding look before leaving the mansion.

"You should be nicer to her." Kol said as he moved the wall of pillow to sit next to Lexi.

"Why?" Rebekah spat, clearly not liking his recommendation. 

"She did help us find Lexi." Kol said as he intertwined his fingers with Lexi's.

"What?" Lexi said, joining the conversation.

"When you were kidnapped Bonnie came here and told us the Salvatores had taken you and explained that she couldn't do a locator spell on you, because you were cloaked, so she did it on Damon. That is how we got there so fast." Kol clarified as he fiddled with Lexi's fingers, "Also how she already knew we were soulmates."

"Oh, hey" Lexi said as she opened the door to the mansion. "What are you doing here?" Lexi questioned as she met Stefan's eyes. After Bonnie left, Lexi decided that she was far too tired to tolerate the world and convinced Finn to nap with her. Now, Lexi has just woken up and was going to go and find Elijah but stopped when she opened the door to find Stefan just standing there.

"I was going to knock." Stefan blurted out.

"I don't doubt it" Lexi teased, picking up on how nervous he was. "What's wrong?" Lexi asked, noticing Stefan's distress.

"It's nothing really. Just uh- Damon and Elena are uh- at the house." Stefan said, clearly uncomfortable.

"Ah" Lexi said, understanding instantly. "Come on" Lexi said before leading Stefan into the house. "Pick your weapon" Lexi teased gesturing to the books once they had entered the library. 

"What is this for?" Stefan asked as he began to examine the books.
