"Why won't you guys let me go?" Lexi whined. She had given up on trying to wriggle free hours earlier. Currently she was being held hostage by Klaus and Rebekah's arms. None of the siblings had answered any of her questions for the last hour and the pattern did not change with this question. "You guys do know I'm not going to disappear, right?" Lexi questioned, genuinely skeptical at this point. Just as she was about to re-enter the silence they had been in, she felt it.

Her magic

Lexi tried to hide the smile that threatened to appear on her face by quickly chanting an a movement spell. This spell pushed Rebekah and Klaus against the nearest wall.

"Thank god" Lexi muttered under her breath. Just as she was about to stand up she was stopped by Finn who had sped in front of her. "You really want to end up like them?" She questioned, gesturing to Klaus and Rebekah who were currently being held against the walls by an invisible force. Just as Finn was about to object she silenced him with another spell.

The feeling of magic running through her again was almost euphoric. After having her magic supressed and unused for so long, there was a build up of magic that was practically leaking from her. The need to use it overwhelming her. With the flick of her wrist an apple appeared in her hand. Having been made from her magic, it was perfect. It had unblemished pure red skin which was broken when she bit into, resulting in the release of blissful sweetness which filled her mouth.

"I'm going to go now." Lexi said, pointing to the door. The overload of magic was beginning to make her uncomfortable. Lexi, understanding the feeling, knew it needed to be used. Elijah then sped in front of her, Kol behind her. "I feel like we should have already learnt why trying to stop me right now is a bad idea." Lexi said, narrowing her eyes whilst her magic built up inside of her.

"Just tell us where you are going." Kol pleaded from behind her.

"To abuse some trees in the woods with my excess magic." Lexi deadpanned, having not turned around to meet Kol's eyes yet. Lexi watched Elijah furrow his brows, clearly confused by her statement. "Side effect of witch hazel." Lexi clarified as if reading his mind before moving out of the Mikaelson sandwich and out the front door. None of the siblings made an effort to follow her as they were still in shock by the events that had just unfolded.

By the time the time Kol and Elijah went to follow her, she had dropped the spells on Finn, Klaus and Rebekah. She had then put up a barrier spell on the house to prevent any of them from leaving or making an effort to follow her.

Lexi dropped to the ground laughing, the ecstatic feeling of magic flowing through her veins and exiting her system overwhelming her in pleasure. As Lexi eyes fluttered open, she looked up at the stars. Each one appeared like splats of white paint on a black canvas, reminding her of new paints Klaus had bought her. Stars were a strange concept, they are always there but only ever seen at night.

NIGHT

"Fuck" Lexi muttered under her breath after realising how long she had been gone. Knowing her mates, they had most likely lost it as soon as they figured out she spelled them in, let alone that she had then disappeared for hours on end. As the mansion came into to view, she undid the barrier spell she had on it before continuing walking. In less than a moment, her mates were surrounding her. Each one of them either giving her a lecture or just glad that she was okay.

Lexi then realised that there were only four bodies surrounding her. She then lifted her eyes to scan each of their faces.

"Where is Kol?" Lexi questioned, realising he was the only one missing. All of the sibling then raised their gaze to look at Elijah who shifted uncomfortably before he started speaking.

"Well-"

-----------------------------------------------

"YOU BASTARD!" Kol hissed at Elijah upon waking up and recalling that Elijah had snapped his neck.

"Kol" Lexi scolded, not in the mood to ruin the joy she was currently feeling as a result of her excess magic. Kol, who had only just realised that Lexi was back, sped towards the lounge she was sitting on before adjusting her body so that he was under her arm and practically wrapped around her entire body. Lexi tried to hide her smile by wrapping her other arm around him and burying her face in his hair.

Smells like apples.

His gesture instantly triggered each of their inner animals. A growl escaping Klaus and Rebekah's lips which earnt them a glare from Lexi who only moved her head slightly.

"I'm still mad." Kol mumbled against Lexi's chest.

"That's what happens when you don't accept the results of a vote." Klaus declared, defending his brother.

"What did you vote on?" Lexi questioned.

"The Salvatores" Rebekah spat, having not liked them from the beginning.

"Care to elaborate?" Lexi asked, still extremely confused.

"How we are going to deal with them." Finn clarified.

"Murder-"

"NO KOL"

-----------------------------------------------

After a 'civilised' conversation which seemed to only consist of the Mikaelsons getting mad and Lexi putting them in their place with her magic, they came to the agreement of inviting the Salvatores to a dinner the next night to peacefully resolve their...predicament.

-----------------------------------------------

"Hey" Lexi whispered to Rebekah as she entered the blonde's room.

"Hello, Lovely" Rebekah responded, standing from her seat to approach her mate.

"I need your help." Lexi said clearly nervous, Rebekah instantly became slightly concerned. Picking up on this Lexi clarified, "A dress, for tonight." A smile instantly broke out on Rebekah's face at her mate's nervousness and the opportunity she had just been given.

"Of course I can find you a dress."

-----------------------------------------------

"Thoughts?" Lexi asked, opening the door to the closet. Rebekah had selected multiple dresses from her closet and instructed Lexi to try on each one and show her so that she could help her decide. Currently, Lexi was trying on a navy dress which ended at the base of her thighs. It was made from a satin material and the neckline dropped low on her chest, ending halfway down her cleavage.

Rebekah was in awe at the sight. The dress perfectly highlighting her mates curves. Just as Rebekah thought she had calmed herself from the sight, Lexi turned so that she could see herself in the mirror. Her action only revealed the lace up back which exhibited her mate's flawless skin.

"Perfect" Rebekah whispered under her breath as she began to approach Lexi.

"I'm getting a strange sense of deja vu." Lexi teased, meeting Rebekah's eyes in the mirror. Rebekah merely hummed at her comment and continued moving towards her. Once Rebekah was standing behind Lexi she reached her arm around and began trailing her soft fingers along the inside of Lexi's thigh. Rebekah then began peppering kisses over Lexi's bare soul mark before speaking.

"I need you."

"So have me."
