Killua's POV

I could slowly feel all of my senses coming back and my eyes beginning to open. The first thing I did was turn to Gon who was still sleeping, he looked so cute. I smiled at him, kissed his forehead, and got up to get ready, I didn't necessarily feel like going to class but at least it was early, which meant I could spend the rest of my day relaxing.

I splashed some water on my face to wash it but got interrupted by my very loud ringtone. I look over to see if I even want to talk to whoever was calling, but that's when I realized it was my mother.

*On the phone*

"Hello?" I say with a raspy voice.

"Goodmorning dear, I didn't wake you did I?" she asks.

"No, what's going on though, it's kind of early" I say.

"I forgot to tell you the other day, so I thought I should tell you first thing today. Ms. Kulana is having a house warming today, we need you to come.. also, bring something to swim in" she says.

"Mother, you're talking about Lady Minori's daughter?" I ask.

"Yes, she just purchased a house near Aoyama! So it won't be hard for you to commute, Aziza told me, isn't that just lovely!" she says excitedly.

"I mean this in the nicest and most respectful way possible, there is no way I'm going to a housewarming for Kulana" I say.

"We already accepted the invite for you and Illumi. You will be going" she says.

"I have to study, and Gon also needs moral support. I'm not going" I say.

"Yes you are Killua! You have been so distant for one too many events, I'm doing you a favor by letting you attend something you'll actually enjoy! It is practically a party! With people your age! Gon can come as well! You will n-" she began.

"Okay! Okay! Calm down, I'll go.. when is it." I ask irritated.

"5 tonight, you should be done with school by then, you'll have fun. That was all, have a good day son" she says cheerfully as she hangs up.

I love my mom, but she can be such a pain sometimes.

I sighed and turned to get a towel but was surprised with Gon walking in.

"Good morning darling" I say walking to him.

"Morning.. who was that?" he asks tiredly as I placed my hands around his hips.

"My mother, she was actually telling me about a 'housewarming'. Something stupid, I have to go though, and I know you'll be busy with packing, but I thought I'd still ask if you'd want to come. You'd make it better" I say as he put his arms around me and leaned on my chest.

"Of course, I'm busy but not that busy. When is it?"

"5, tonight" I say as I rubbed his sides.

"5?" Gon asks.

"Mhm, is that okay?"

"Yeah no it's perfect actually, I just didn't expect them to have anything so late" he says looking up at me.

"It'll actually only be hosted by the girl, her names Kulana. She's 20 so, most of the people there will be our age" I say looking back at him.

"Oh, I see. Why don't you wanna go? That sounds like fun"

Gon has always been the socialite between the two of us.

"You know I don't really like to go out, plus I'm not too fond of Japan nobles" I say as Gon let go.

"Why not?" he says as he grabbed his toothbrush.
