"For fuck sake." Panting heavily, a wolf painfully melts away revealing the human who swore aloud. Clutching his stomach, the male crawled along the wall, his short h/c hair matted with blood, whilst several dead bodies littered the ground, whilst stone statues coloured with human features lay in between, a pack and the vampires that attacked them.
Reaching the start of an alley way, the boys legs gave up. The exertion of the fight and the aconite infected wounds drained the life of the boy, blood as black as night splattered over him, mingling painfully with his flesh. Spitting out a mouthful of blood, the collapsed figure rolled onto its back, barely; allowing his collapsing lungs to function as they could. "So...this is how I go down?"
Laughing dryly at the irony, he was oblivious to the three figures walking further down the street, tears forming at the edge of the boys torn face, joining their brothers as the rain began to fall.
"I go down just as old ma said I would. A blaze of glory, with bodies of friend and foe at my feet."
Fading out of consciousness, the boy saw three people leaning over him as he resigned to the thought and his fate. 'And it still wasn't enough to save us...but maybe...I can save these vampires from their hunger...how humerous.'

Alice p.o.v
Carlisle, Emmet and I were out on a hunt quiet far home as we had roused the suspicion of the police, thought they thought it was a wolf running amuck against the wildlife. Crossing the road, we had finished loading the cars with bags when we were drawn to the sound of a screams. Against our better judgement, we took off to investigate. Honestly, I wasn't sure what we would find. Would it be a human? A vampire? Would we be able to help; or control ourselves? Thoughts buzzed through my head as we slowed, crossing the street where a truly gory sight met our eyes.
Fifteen bodies littered the ground, vampire and werewolf blood mixing in the most repulsive smell that burned my nose, whilst a long trail of blood led off to the right of the street. Following it, as if in a trance, I heard Carlisle ask where I was going yet I found myself unable to answer. Dreading what I would find upon turning the corner, my voice left me. Yet it was nothing compared to what occured when I did finally bring myself to come around the edge of the high brick wall. "Carlisle!"
Feeling my father rush up beside me, I heard him mutter in shock as Emmet too, appeared beside me. I watched as he approached the boy, crouching down I watched as he examined him.
"He's definitely one of them. Probably the alpha, though I can't be sure, but judging by the fact he's still alive," Shrugging nonchalantly he continued, "I'd say its a safe bet."
Involuntarily, I found myself crouching beside him, finding myself absorbed by deep, moving sadness. This boy wasn't older than 16 or 18 at most, he had just lost his pack, his home, his family; he had lost so much. Would it be kinder to let him fade away? But he had so much to live for still, to experience; even if he was a werewolf. I longed to cry, something I wish I could still do, as I turned to Carlisle, my mind made up, and my own decision surprising me. "Save him."
Had the situation not been so dire, the shocked look on his face would have been priceless. "What?"
"Save him." Fighting back the choke in my throat, I turned my crouched form to look at my father. "Save him, or I will."
No sooner had I said that, felt my mind fall away, and I was over taken by a vision. I was vaguely aware of one of the boys' arm on my back. I must have lost my balance as I entered the vision.
Green fields blurred past as I zoomed in on several individuals fighting, what looked like vampires and werewolves on one side, and immature vampires on the other. A massive wolf, larger than the rest, with bright red eyes commanded attention and definitely the battle as he saved several others, cullens and wolves alike, next was a vision of a dark room with a girl that I had never seen before. One moment she was being threatened by a guy, by the looks of it a vampire, next; she was outside, whilst several shadows rushed past her. The final vision was of the same wolf in the first; standing between to frontlines, families split in half, he spoke words I couldn't hear, yet I knew, somehow; that my future, and the future of my family and this girl, were all tied together. It was the only explanation, as I couldn't see the futures of werewolves or hybrids. Coming back too, I saw Carlisle and Emmet's worried faces.
